"The power/water/wifi was out for many hours each day of our stay. It was inconvenient to be without these necessities, especially considering the high temperatures of the area. Vacasa guest services were unhelpful, but responsive. It appears that these power outages are frequent and that Casa Xila does not have an adequate generator to accommodate power outages and surges that may happen in this area. "Very clean and trendy hotel with a beautiful rooftop deck and infinity pool. The staff are friendly and the location is quite walkable. The one con is that the doors don’t seem to block out the sound that well"

"Samantha and the rest of the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel is super cute with gorgeous plants, clean rooms, and a great spot on the beach. The Agave restaurant associated with the hotel was delicious. They have the tallest vantage point along the coast of Tulum so you can enjoy sunset over the trees and sunrise over the ocean. They also have a coffee service included where they bring you freshly roasted coffee and leave it outside your room at your desired time....
