The pool was nice and not to far to walk to the beach.

The apartment was great: cleanliness, location, view, amenities, parking etc. But I would never stay there again and this is why. Outside the apartment, at the elevators and in the corridors, there was a terrible, foul odour, eminating from the rubbish shoot, for the entire stay. The odour even came in to the apartment if we went near the front door, so we had to stuff a mat and towels against the bottom of the door. To make matters worse, I reported this offensive and putrid stench to the Hilton staff (concierge and security manager) 3 times, and each time they played dumb and made out like they didn't know anything about it. Some days the stink seemed worse than the previous day. It turns out that residents and guests throughout the building, on multiple floors, in the elevators, the corridors, at the pool, were discussing the disgusting smell amongst themselves (and with me), with many others making complaints to the Hilton staff and some moving rooms to higher floors in a bid to get away from it. According to some guests who had stayed there previously, this is a common and well known issue with this building. And the Hilton staff plays dumb about it and does nothing about it, pretending that it's the first time they've heard the complaint every time. Great apartment, great everything. But I will never stay there again, nor recommend it to anyone else. There are plenty of other buildings in Surfers Paradise.
