From the moment you arrive, you’ll be drawn to the sweeping ocean views, the inviting solar-heated plunge and lap pool, and the relaxed, coastal charm that makes this property a true home away from home. The upper level is all about space, with an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that flows seamlessly out to a coastal balcony. Here, panoramic views stretch across Torquay’s stunning coastline, making it the perfect spot for morning coffee, evening drinks, or alfresco dining with family and friends. The master bedroom is tucked to one side of the living area and also captures those spectacular views. It comes complete with its own ensuite, walk-in robe, and television for added comfort and privacy. Booking via Stayz was a little tricky as I was re-directed to a local Real Estate Agency who could not confirm the deposit made via Stayz website. When collecting the keys I was not given the linen so had to double back to collect which was inconvenient. No doona covers were supplied, only flat sheets and pillowcases. However there were some issues, we received incorrect check in instructions, so we ended up at the real estate in town. We arrived at the property and the downstairs was dusty, the bathroom downstairs was dirty and there was no toilet paper in any of the toilets. Upon check out, we had conflicting time as to when to check out and the cleaner arrived before we checked out. Really well set up, beautifully clean and a pool that was heaven for the cyclists. Residence is clean and setup with all you need, with the billiard table, stereos up and down stairs, TVs in almost each room and main areas, including wifi. Kitchen and laundry is well equipped. Pool is great for the kids and the trees mean you get your privacy. As others have said, the pool could be a bit warmer, but that may have been due to the time of the year we stayed. Having separate zones to be able to get away to meant that everyone had a space to get away. The pool was just amazing and so relaxing. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking Torquay and the ocean was so beautiful. Cant wait to go back.
