Close enough to shops and attractions - you get a nice balance of solitude and things to do. Easy check in/out process. Will come back!”

“Just outside Jay, this cozy little A-frame was immaculately and thoughtfully stocked. Immediately after we arrived, we were snowed in by a freak winter storm! Thankfully, we had everything we needed to weather it - snow shovel, a warm wood stove, coffee, snacks, and more. “It's a nice cabin, very secluded, a mile drive on a gravel road from town. We were out and about a lot and the drive got to be a bit of a bear. It has some of the usual cabin quirks. It's nicely appointed, but the polyester sheets gave it a definite low-budget feel.”

The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. “This small cabin is quite nice for a couple, and very dog-friendly! With a fire in the wood stove, the cabin gets very toasty. We note that stairs up to the loft are very steep and tight, so they might not be easy for all to navigate.”

“This place was the most peaceful and tranquil place we have ever stayed in our life. We were worry free and relaxed our whole stay. The place was clean, warm, and extremely comfortable.
