“My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of magical! Before arriving, the owner Kelly, sent us a "Perfect Placid" list of the areas attractions with things to do and restaurant recommendations. So cool! “This is not what the pictures or the reviews say. The room was humid and the bedsheet was torn. We were two people, but there was a towel set for only one person. The pool was not heated. The sauna did not work (FYI - there was only one two-seat sauna for the entire hotel). The “cabins”, which in the pictures seem to be in the woods, are basically in the parking lot. The hotel does not partner with any local vendors for any water/hiking activities. 35 USD for the breakfast basket, which only has……

“I really appreciated the attention to detail in the room, from the brass sconces and push button light switches to the black tile bathroom and the marble washstand. The bedding was comfortable and the room felt cozy and inviting, especially enjoyed sitting by the window looking out at the mountain. The staff checked in by text and everything went smoothly. I would stay here again.”

“We loved our stay, all went pretty much smooth except for little miscommunication during the check-in; the towels were soft and fresh, room smelled nicely and property well maintained. The owners were very responsive, just make sure you connect to their wifi, since our phone service was off. Highly recommend if you are bringing a dog with you!”
