“Great place to stay right in Keene Valley. Everything was great. Bed was comfortable. The blinds however needed fixed in our room. Part of them were broken off.”

“This is a very sweet lodge with wonderful owners - Shelly and her husband - and a delicious restaurant. You can bring food to grill yourself or eat at the restaurant on their lovely patio - we did both. The complementary breakfast on Saturday and Sundays is lovely as well. The lodge was originally built in the 60s and the rooms are a bit tight but they work!”

“We loved our stay, all went pretty much smooth except for little miscommunication during the check-in; the towels were soft and fresh, room smelled nicely and property well maintained. The owners were very responsive, just make sure you connect to their wifi, since our phone service was off. Highly recommend if you are bringing a dog with you!”

“Opposite Mirror Lake, in the heart of Lake Placid downtown, full of fun and enjoyable experiences with family and friends. 3 nights, 4 days over the weekend. Hospitable staff, king-and-queen like feeling. 4 pools and 15-min jaqquzzi, was all we needed while staying at High Peaks Resort.”

“Needs an upgrade and the staff were not friendly or helpful. They could careless if had any issues and said no manager was there to help me with a valid complaint. The beds were horrible too.”

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - Kelly and her staff greeted us warmly and offered a quick tour pointing out the cozy common areas and sharing a bit of the Inn's history. “I really appreciated the attention to detail in the room, from the brass sconces and push button light switches to the black tile bathroom and the marble washstand. The bedding was comfortable and the room felt cozy and inviting, especially enjoyed sitting by the window looking out at the mountain. The staff checked in by text and everything went smoothly. I would stay here again.”
