“Great place to stay right in Keene Valley. Everything was great. Bed was comfortable. The blinds however needed fixed in our room. Part of them were broken off.”

“We loved our stay, all went pretty much smooth except for little miscommunication during the check-in; the towels were soft and fresh, room smelled nicely and property well maintained. The owners were very responsive, just make sure you connect to their wifi, since our phone service was off. Highly recommend if you are bringing a dog with you!”

“Pool closed entire stay. Kids were dissapoijted. Comped 100 dollar dinner and a breakfast. Was told each day it would be open tomorrow. I would have stayed at another resort”

“Property is beautifully designed. Looks like the lounge will be a nice place to relax once it is finished. Back patio was being utilized by guests enjoying themselves. Owners were kind and helpful, and accommodating with a request we made which was so appreciated! We will definitely return.”

“Door was ajar when we first entered. Room was oddly located in a heavy traffic area which was loud throughout the evening. The room had a thick carpet which make the room feel dated. Bed mattress was squishy--not firm. And my wife could not wait to leave. The staff was friendly on check in and check out, but the price of the room ($350) I felt it was not a good value. Yes, hotel rooms in Lake Placid command a premium in the summer. But this was overpriced.”

“We have stayed in many Hampton locations. This one was special. First, an excellent location, right across the street from Mirror Lake, and minutes to the main street with all the shops and restaurants. They provided seating that overlooked the lake, amazing for coffee in the morning, and a drink at night. Pets were welcome (we left ours with a sitter). The space was clean even though there were a bunch of furry friends while we were there - it made the space so friendly that the Inn was so……

“We stayed at Mountain Brook Lodge for two nights, and our experience was excellent. The lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and cozy. It's conveniently located just about 20 minutes from Lake Placid and is close to all the major attractions in the area. Parking is available right outside your room, which is very convenient. They also offer connecting rooms, making it a great choice for larger families or groups traveling together.”

Also, the service, food and cocktails at the restaurant was so so good. Make sure to make reservations to secure your spot for a great dinner experience!”
