We could relax at the lodge. Meals were delicious and the staffs had wonderful hospitality. I wish I could get a little larger bath towel.

The breakfast menu was fresh but somewhat repetitive. The staff were lovely. We'd have appreciated an extra place setting in the apartment and an extra pot and a dishcloth.

One of the reasons I booked this hotel was that it stated in the description that the suite contained a washer and dryer. It doesn’t. The Peace Lodge hands down has the best staff I have ever had. We felt like family there. The General Manager, Roy, was our favorite. Freddy at Guest Services, Daniel and Melvin at the restaurants, Henry and John who worked w/ animals were A+ staff!
Beautiful town, a bit too quiet for my taste.
I would highly recommend a trip to this area. Exactly how I had envisioned classic Costa Rica!
