Wonderful Lake Almanor
Really enjoyed our stay. Deb works hard to be an excellent host and it shows. Communication was great and the cabin was superb. Loved the lake and Lassen Park. We got caught in the rain and the best part was coming back and getting warm by the propane fireplace. Thank you Deb for such a great place.

Deb's Cabin Lake Almanor
We loved our stay at Deb Laver's cabin. The cabin was lovely, clean, charming and laid-out in a way that was easy to access everything. Communications with Deb was very good. She allowed our dog, which was such a plus. We could go down to the beach and "swim" or go on day trips to hike. It is so nice to have the Peninsula Market so close. And Wally's Coffee. If you want to make coffee as soon as you get up, be sure and bring some as it is not on locale. The only minus was if you come to have a super quiet get-away, the operator of the marina there plays commercial country music all day. I've always loved Lake Amanor (my parents lived there) and I'd definitely come back or recommend. Thank you!

Nice week on the lake
The place was exactly like described, but it was a little shocking to realize just how small it was. We got use to the 5 foot ceiling. It was hot in the loft until we figured out how to manage the temperature. No wifi was tougher than expected since we couldn't look up phone numbers to golf courses, restaurants, marina without going up to the store. Maybe leave a phone book since no wifi. It was great having the dock and slip for our water gear.

Everything was perfect
We chose this property because it had a king sized bed and a wonderful recliner for TV viewing. Netflix was an unexpected perk. Sitting on the deck under a magnificent pine overlooking the lake was fabulous. The heating worked great. This condo is clean, comfortable and perfectly appointed.

Little gem at Lake Almanor
Such a cute place! It was the perfect getaway. The cabin was fully stocked with anything you would need. Right across the street is Peninsula Market which even had wifi. The deck was the icing on the cake....looked right over the marina which was only steps away. So enjoyable to people and boat watch along with a glass of wine.

Great location -
Great location, not so sure about for the wintertime. Had issues with ice etc on steep drive. Owner was very responsive to needs and our concerns. Can't wait to come back at a different time of year. Downside is that we had to supply our own linens.

Cozy Cabin with Amazing View
We loved our time at Lake Almanor. This cabin is in a great location, convenient to marina for our boating needs and a plus to have the boat slip included. The cove had breathtaking sunrises and sunsets! Deb has decorated it so nice and the outside deck is wonderful for relaxing. Thank you for a great time in your cozy cabin on the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cabin on the lake
We loved our stay here. The cabin was perfect for our needs. The location was fabulous right on the lake with a little private beach, and walking distance to the grocery store and coffee shop and boat rentals. The best part of this cozy cabin with the huge deck, where we spent most of our time looking at the beautiful lake and enjoying the view. The cabin is small but it has everything you need ... it is stocked with everything!! Beach chairs, chaise lounges, paper plates, a salad spinner and even though we bought our own coffee grinder this place had one. We brought our two dogs who had a great time here. Not far from Lassen, which is a must see. Hoping to go back next year. Thanks Deb for a great stay.

Amazing vacation
Small but perfect cabin. So long as you realize the cabin is 525 square feet and you are not renting a mansion, you are just fine. There is no A/C, but it cools off at night and the with the fans going, we were very comfortable. The kitchen came equipped with everything we needed (the knives are better than my kitchen knives at home and there was pan there that became my favorite!). Bring your own sheets for the Cal King in the downstairs bedroom and the queen and full in the upstairs loft. Also bring bath towels and beach towels. (Some paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, kitchen paper products are provided, but extras are necessary if you stay for a week or longer like we did. And paper plates and ziplock baggies sure came in handy too.) The deck is really the best part of the cabin. It sits right on the marina and has a gorgeous view of the lake. It has morning sun, but afternoon shade. I drank many morning cups of coffee on the deck, read several good books and several meals were eaten on the deck table ... oh, not to mention s'mores over the fire pit. We rented a boat from the marina, just a stone's throw across the water and used the provided boat slip. It was so convenient. Most of our days were spent on the water, only to come back to shore to refuel the boat and our tummies. There is no wifi, but cellular service was fine (except for 4th of July when I imagine traffic was exceptionally busy). The market across the street had anything you might have forgotten (in our case, ice cream). It was a wonderful week of boating, wake boarding, tubing, kayaking, reading, barbecuing, playing games, and just hanging out with family and friends. We couldn't have asked for a better time. Deb was wonderful to work with. She was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond, yet didn't pester us or become overbearing. She was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was almost like staying in an old friend from college's cabin. I'd love to keep this little gem a secret all to myself and not share it with anyone ... it really is that great.

Fantastic View of Lake And Welcoming Home
From the moment we drove up to the front of the precious home we knew we were in for a wonderful vacation. The inside was spotless, looked like it was out of a magazine, and ready for a relaxing time by the lake. The kitchen was set up nicely set up for any meal you would like to fix. Sitting on the deck was fantastic! You are across from the marina and the lake is huge and peaceful. Any time out there is wonderful. We plan to come back again, and I think you can tell that. With anything you need, the landlady Deb is very helpful. The lake is beautiful and the house is really sweet. I suggest you give it a try.

Wonderful Lake Almanor Cabin
We had a wonderful time! We loved this cabin. It is small but it had everything we needed for a great stay. It was very clean and comfortable and the owner, Deb, was really nice to work with. The deck is big and overlooks the little marina and the lake and mountains beyond. There’s a big outdoor dining table and comfortable chaise lounges, and a nice gas barbecue. It was heavenly relaxing on the deck watching the boats come and go, and later watching the moon shimmering on the lake. We barbecued steaks and hamburgers that we got at the well stocked little market right across the street, and ate all our meals outside on the deck. The living room is comfortable with a recliner, sofa, and big TV. The kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean and had plenty of space for all our toiletries. There is a lot to do at Lake Almanor. We rented Seadoos at the marina one day and kayaks another day, and we had so much fun out on the beautiful lake! We rented bikes at a shop at the other end of the lake one day and rode on the beautiful Lake Almanor Recreational Trail. And at the end of every fun day we came back and relaxed on the deck overlooking the lake. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation!

Small cabin with a great view!
Spent six days in this cabin with wife and daughter and really enjoyed the stay. Weather was rain and windy but the view from the cabin was beautiful watching the storms over the lake and mountains. Deb was very helpful and made sure we were well informed before our departure and and while we were there. Great location and wonderful market and coffee right across the road, thanks again Deb
