"Cute & quaint B&B overlooking the bay. 2 of us stayed in Dorothy's room and enjoyed our stay very much. Clean, spacious rooms with all the amenities we needed. The hostess is a gem of a person. She was very kind and resourceful. We loved our conversations with her! They offer breakfast in the morning and information on things- to- do around. Acadia National Park and Bar harbor are just an hour's ride away. Parking available in the front yard. Highly recommend for a peaceful holiday by the water...

"Sand Bar Cottage Inn is the place to be while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The entire property is absolutely stunning. So much time spent making sure each and every detail is perfect. From the art work covering the walls to the fresh flowers everywhere. Our favorite part about our stay was Chris, the Innkeeper. He made sure everything went smoothly and that we had the best honeymoon!"

"I went by this place 5 years ago on another trip and said to myself cool, I’m staying there the next time. I was not disappointed! The breakfast’s were so unique, delicious and Anna serviced them up hot with a smile. Oh people say it’s too far from town, soooo! You just drive down to the visitor center at Hull’s Cove pay to park, it’s good for a week, and take the Island Explorer bus to downtown or other stops. I definitely will stay at Coach Stop Inn again wonderful experience!"

"The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge."

"Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did. "Recently stayed for four nights, regular traveler to Winter Harbor. Lovely apartment right in town, can walk to shops, restaurants, art gallery and groceries. Large clean kitchen with all needed cooking equipment and dishes, etc. Very comfortable mattress and good mattress on sofa bed. Beautiful view of Henry Cove from the third floor deck and sliders. Very near Acadia at Schoodic park entrance. Excellent place to stay in Winter Harbor."
