“I stayed at this rental with my husband and kids, and overall the property is great. It’s an easy drive to all things Acadia but is not overpriced and overcrowded like the Bar Harbor area. There was plenty of room for the four of us. Close to the restaurants and grocery stores in Ellsworth. Beds were comfortable. We did let the host know soon after check-in that a bedroom was missing its smoke detector and the bedroom light wasn’t working, we didn’t hear back about those issues. There is a full……

“This was the perfect location and the host was responsive and helpful. My only complaint is that the bed is terribly uncomfortable and even after tightening the frame it squeaks with the littlest movement. My husband actually went to sleep on the hide-a-bed towards the end of the stay (we went out and purchased a mattress pad to make it more comfortable) because the bed hurt his back so much. But if the bed were to be upgraded I would come back. The convenience of the location and the allotted……

“We had an awesome stay! Jay is a terrific host who is incredibly thorough and responsive. The condo is a little cozy for two people, but everything about it is top notch! The location is terrific, a short walk from the center of town and tons of bars, restaurants, and the Island Explorer. The condo is equipped with top notch accessories - towels, sheets, the bed, etc. - and an amazing TV?Surround sound system! I highly recommend!”

The place was spotless and cozy, with plenty of fresh linens and towels provided. Parking in the back. The bed was so comfortable, I honestly didn’t want to leave! The location was perfect. “The property is exactly as described; clean, easy check in & out, great choices on the TV, and nicely located. Perfect place for us to relax after a day of exploring Acadia National Park. There are great, delicious choices for Maine lobster meals and homemade blueberry pie. Blueberry Hill ice cream and Pat's Pizza are a must try. The property manager is responsive bot before and during our stay.Plan to stay here again the next time we come to hike.”
