Last-minute hotel deals in Albany

My daughter and I were in town for one night to tour RPI. We certainly chose well with our overnight accommodations. Although the house is quaint, extra clean, and decorated perfectly, the star of our stay was the innkeeper, John. From the moment we walked in, it was like seeing an old friend. John was friendly, kind and took excellent care of us. His hospitality made us want to come back again....very soon.

Comfortable suites at decent prices

The staff was so helpful. Everyone we needed something, such as towels, garbage bags, toilet paper and so on. They were always accommodating. I noticed that they were a little light staffed. I work in retail/ customer service so I noticed things that others may not. Even with juggling a lot of work the staff was all so polite. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of excellent dietary and healthy options. The rooms were spotless with a very comfortable bed, which is most important. Very clean rooms and atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff. Conveniently located.We will visit this hotel again

If there was a word to describe above excellent or perfection, that's the word I would use for this hotel. Everything, from cleaning, service, employees to delicious breakfast, great pool, easy parking.....absolutely everything was 10 . They even have laundry on site and it's free. The rooms are very spacious and come well equipped with everything needed (they have full kitchens in the suites!!!). We are a family of five with 3 children traveling around US for a year and so far this is the best...

Booking was easy. Arrival was smooth, even on a busy, rainy, local college graduation (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) weekend . The new front desk manager had to untangle our multiple source reservation & handled it well, making us feel rightfully not responsible for the mix up. Appreciated her & her colleague’s kindness. Really nice property

We stayed there one night to visit RPI. Very nice hotel. Clean and new. Free Wifi and television has many more channels than other sites with access to Netflix, etc. We had a suite which had a king bed, a full kitchen with dishes/utensils. It is right next to a larger shopping plaza that has a cabarras, sonic, dennys, Japanese hibachi, etc and other chain restaurants. Near the intersection of route 7 and route 87 north. The staff were so kind and informative about the Inn’s history. John brought us to our room and was quick to ask us if we needed more towels or water. The beds were cozy and the room was comfortable. It was a great experience. I wish I’d taken them up on the free morning yoga class!

We loved our room. We loved that everything was new and gorgeous. We loved that we could buy a midnight snack. We loved the reasonable pricing. We loved that the location was so convenient for us. I cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Hampton Inn. The staff was welcoming, informative, and kind. The lobby was warm with complementary coffee and tea, and the staff was happy to answer any questions. The room was impecably clean and the beds were very comfortable. Check out was at 11am, but we overslept... we received a courtesy call at 11:17 asking if we planned on staying another night or if we wanted extended check out. They were very understanding and accommodating....

I like The pool, gym and meeting room. The restaurant has great food as well.
