Riviera Maya Kid friendly Vacations

Omg, just I wasted money. The food was terrible and the menu was the same all week, the pool water was hot like swimming in soup, the staff was not nice. From 10:15 pm there was no music or activities for the guests and you had to go back to the room. This trip was very boring for my children aged 9-16-14, the hotel internet was very slow and kept cutting out, the room was full of mosquitoes. Please do not waste your money.

The resort was beautiful and an amazing getaway! From the variety of food options including the buffet and à la carter restaurants, to all the amazing activities provided by the entertainment staff, the service of the workers and wonderful room I couldn't recommend a better resort to stay at!

This is one of the best resorts in the world. The service is impeccable and not forced, the staff is genuinely the most friendly helpful people you will meet. The rooms are almost all identical and all have ocean views. The beach is peaceful and amazing, with turtles swimming in it nearby. I can't say enough great things about this resort. That's why I guess there is a cult following with people coming back year after year, and me being one of them!!

We just spent 7 unforgettable days at the Riu Tequila, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. As first-timers to an all-inclusive resort, we were a bit hesitant and didn’t want to take any chances on a place we might not enjoy. But honestly, it turned out to be one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—their warmth and attentiveness truly set the tone for the week. The property itself is gorgeous, impeccably maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife that make it feel like a true tropical oasis. We had plenty of choices when it came to meals, with a fantastic variety of food available throughout our stay. If there is one minor area for improvement, it would be the desserts; while there were plenty of options to choose from, elevating the quality of the sweet treats would make the dining experience a 10 out of 10 across the board. Otherwise, we were never short of things to do. The daily activities and evening entertainment were an absolute blast, keeping us smiling, laughing, and thoroughly entertained the entire trip. Great staff, great entertainment, and a property that exceeds expectations. We came home relaxed, happy, and already dreaming of our next trip back!
