Riviera Maya Kid friendly Vacations

Rooms were clean, pool was nice, beach had seaweed this time of year but was still pretty and swimmable for part of the week. It’s a smaller resort so easier to get around. No lines, lots of chairs and places to chill out. Food at the buffet was ok, but the in air conditioned space was stifling. Restaurants were hard to book and meals often took a long time. Evening shows were enjoyable.

For starters, we were misrepresented by stating the resort was an all adults resort. It is definitely not. Out of over 900 rooms only a little over 200 are all adult. You do the math. There is only one section for adult rooms and adult swim in bar. The adult swim up bar closes at 5pm although the family pool closes at 6pm. The food options at the buffet was very disappointing. First time I ever complained about the buffets, and I have been to many resorts in mexico for the past 20 years. Did not appreciate children screaming and running around the lobby bar at 10 pm at night from 4 years old and up, buffet area, and everywhere else on the resort will absolutely not be back, and will not refer this resort to anyone that is expecting an all adult. I personally feel I should be given a monetary credit for the misrepresentation. I went there to relax not to be underfoot by many children. I have friends that have booked this resort for october i am going to suggest they change and book else where. Very disappointing experience!!!
