Some amenities were lacking.

Excellent location… just a two minute walk to the famous Hofbrauhaus and few more minutes beyond that to Marienplatz. Hotel is on a small, quiet side street. The hotel is clean and our room was great. The lobby and entry feels more like a 2-3 star. You use a regular door key and are asked to leave it at the front desk when you leave. But there is always someone at the front desk, so it’s not a hassle. The breakfast is somewhat small, but has all the basics, and the eating area looks recently upgraded and is very clean and nice. By general international hotel standards, this is a solid 3 star, definitely not 4. That’s not a negative, but worth calling out since the hotel has four stars on its website, which I felt was a bit misleading after our stay.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Das ťägliche Highlight war für uns das 5-Gänge-Menü am Abend - top Auswahl und Zusammenstellung der einzelnen Zutaten, das schmeckt man. Auch das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und frisch. Zu den Anwendungen können wir leider nichts schreiben, da wir diese nicht in Anspruch genommen haben. Die erhältliche App liefert alle Infos und nach dem Login sogar den aktuellen Stand der Nebenkosten. Noch ein Hinweis, da diese Info in Expedia hier etwas untergeht: Die Zimmer sind strahlungarm aufgebaut, d.h. Mobilfunk- u. WLAN-Empfang größtenteils nicht möglich. Best part of Bavaria, beautiful, like something out of a fairy tale

No one there to help us with our luggage. When the face towels came in, there were dead flowers on the tray along with it our room smelled like smoke.

Last minute booking and found a gem. A bargain price considering the rooms have AC, 10 mins from centre but only 3 minutes from Harras S & U-bahn station. Will definitely be back!
