Isle of Whithorn Mountain Vacations and Getaways

The room we stayed in was small but nicely decorated. The bed was so comfy and clean. We didn't have breakfast as we had an early train to catch....considering the hotel is being refurbished at the moment everything was as I hoped it would be. Lovely staff and very helpful

Very comfortable beds, friendly staff, good breakfast Didn't like the juice at breakfast, not fresh and tasted strange

Excellent staff , room clean . Room amenities have room for improvement , But early days and hopefully improvements will continue

The best accommodations of our trip. We booked one of the carriage house units and it was incredible. We had our own private hot tub. There wasn’t a restaurant on site which we’re concerned about at first but the freezer was stocked with the most delicious prepared meals. The frig was full of local cheeses and meats, all included in the booking price. We were welcomed with a half bottle of champagne and there were so many other choices of wine, beer and alcohol to purchases if we wanted. Everything was so well stocked that we didn’t need to leave the property for anything. The grounds were beautifully maintained and we had access to many trails right from the property. We would be lucky to stay here again. Thank you!

Everything is good

A beautiful place to stay. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a while. Really enjoyed my stay.

Very handy location for both the city and the Hydro. Comfortable, clean and spacious room, helpful staff and a pleasant bar.

Overall, the stay was okay, especially considering the location. However, don’t expect a modern hotel experience. The hotel is quite old, and the rooms and facilities feel dated. The doors still use traditional keys, and there is no elevator, which made carrying my luggage upstairs quite difficult. Breakfast was quite limited, with only a few options to choose from. I didn’t get a chance to try the hot tub. On the positive side, the parking was free and convenient. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but it was more of a basic, old-fashioned hotel experience.
