They are a terrific old hotel right within walking distance of downtown and the art gallery row. Very kind. Being from a hot climate, they turned the heat on whereas the rest of the hotel had a/c. Very accommodating!

I really want to write a higher score for this property because the staff was great. The servers bartenders valet and hotel staff were all attentive and friendly- but we felt this is a 3 star property overall. The property has some decent amenities and the grounds were nicely maintained and the cleaning staff did a good job. The room had a cute fireplace- But, the issue we had was the room was dated and needs to be refreshed. Our room had a nice view of the mountains but the patio furniture looked like it had never been cleaned enough so that we did not sit on it to appreciate the view. The inside furniture was very dated as well. The floors were worn and not in a charming way, the bathroom had unpainted spackle patches and it just felt like the room would have been great 20 years ago. GPS took us on the back route on Kit Carson and it was a super sketchy neighborhood. Unfortunately because of this we wouldn’t stay here again.

Our suite was great with a spacious living area and a balcony that supports a table and 4chairs. It was great to enjoy the outdoors and relax. Access to downtown is convenient with shopping and dining within walking distance. We encountered rain during our stay and this room offered a spacious place to relax. Even though we didn’t use the pool the temperature was like bath water.

The staff is excellent and goes beyond what most hotels offer. Friendly, clean rooms, nice balcony to watch sunrise. I won’t stay at any other hotel in Santa Fe.
