"The Congress is a short wall to the Symphony, and the art museum. It's an old hotel but clean and everything worked. Mattresses were a little too firm for me. "

"Staying at the Aloft is very central and walkable to most things. With concrete walls the rooms are quite as we didnt hear anything from next door. Close to shopping and dining options. Walkable to Mag mile and Navy Pier. We caught the train from the airport with a short walk to the hotel without changes from train to bus."

"The rooms are beautiful. The hotel is in a great location with walking to the River District and Lakeshore Drive. The clerk took 4 people ahead of me even though I was the first in line. She forgot to give me a parking validation ticket which made the process of leaving the lot difficult. The rest of the staff was great. You must reserve way ahead of time if you want to eat on-sight. The hall was noisy past 11 pm. "

"The location was really close to the places I wanted to see while I was in town. The staff was really accommodating and helpful. The restaurant connected to hote was really good and convenient before we had to drive back to airport. Even though i didn’t want to pay for $60 valet, it was really easy when I needed the car to take a drive. I also didn’t like the rooms windows, seems they are single pane and you get a lot of outdoor noise at night. "

"I love that this property was walking distance to Target and multiple food spots. We went to a concert at the Allstate Arena and it was a 4-5 minute walk which was SUPER convenient."

"This is a gem in the city of Chicago. Wonderful location. Beautiful, upscale hotel with attentive service. The room was nicely appointed and sparkling clean. Breakfast buffet was substantial!"

"3 elevators - AWESOME! No waiting, noatter what time i needed the elevator... Sounds small but very unusual and appreciated. Lounge in entry was nice, and unexpected. Television was horrible - no options to sign into streaming accounts and no real-time guide available on television. Would have liked room service from Bar Louie - excellent food!"

"Valet guy was fantastic. Front desk was extremely friendly and pleasant. The girl running breakfast deserves huge recognition. She was top notch in making sure everything was replenished and fresh. She even went the extra mile for a couple who came down 5 min before close and still accommodated them. That’s amazing customer service!!!! I will definitely stay in the future and recommend to others. "
