Pay attention to the hidden taxes and fees!

To start off with this review, I'd like to mention that we received an e-mail finally warning us about all the taxes we would have to pay at the check in at the hotel. The problem was that it was sent to us only FOUR DAYS BEFORE the check in...so, since the cancellation policy stated a 7-day-before-cancellation, you can deduce we couldn't cancel our booking anymore. We were solemnly informed that we'd have to pay 20 euros for late check in (after 8 p.m., or 30-40 euros after midnight), 1 euro (touristic tax) plus 6 euros (resort tax) PER PERSON PER NIGHT!!! During the check in, they justified this taxes affirming that it was vital to maintain the premises clean and organized, and that our room would be clean every day. The truth??? We stayed THREE DAYS and the room stayed in the exactly way we left it each day in the morning. Shame on them. I am sincerely disappointed and I will NEVER go back to there nor recommend it to anyone. Beware of this trap, folks!

Beware the address as advertised

We arrived at the advertised address to find an Irish Pub. We were told by staff that another man with two young children and a single German girl were also looking for the same "hotel". Eventually a man showed up and advised us that he would take us one by one to our designated apartments, which would have been daunting for the single girl. Our apartment was is a great location just off La Rambla, but we had no idea where he was taking us. We arrived at 3pm, I have no idea what would happen if you arrived after hrs. We tried to ring the 24 hr number given to us by the man to sort out the WiFi but it took 12 hrs for him to reply, I don't know what would happen if you really needed help. It was a great apartment but I think the Hotels.com site needs to specify that the apartments are at various addresses and a better meet and great needs to be organised. The Irish Pub at the listed address has nothing to do with Click Click.

Worst experience ever. Wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone. Not clear conditions, stuff not willing to help and not polite at all. Just horrible experience

Stay Away

The taxi driver was not able to find the place which gives you the first clue. We found it later, there was no sign, just a piece of paper on a wall. We rang the doorbell and were let in. There was no lobby and we were told go to the 4th floor where we found a door, again with no sign, we knocked on it and rang a bell for 15 min but no one ever answered. Also, the inside of the building looked like it belong in Somalia, it was very dim, dirty and old. I a 28 yr old male who is not picky, but this place felt very creepy!

Too many hoops

Didn't end up staying here because of all the hoops we were going to have to go through to paid in advance, email a copy of passports etc. Too hard for backpackers who have been on the road for months.
