Cons: They could fix the broken toilet and the walls in the bathroom was in need of a good cleaning or some paint. And the carpet needs a good cleaning.
We only stayed for 1 night. The staff was nice. But there are some issues that need fixed.

A Serviceable Place to Sleep

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Within a few miles of Ann Arbor, close to the expressway (I-94).
Cons: The carpet was stained, could stand replacement.
Location: Just a few minutes outside of Ann Arbor, near Willow Run.
A decent comfortable bed. The room was clean overall, but the carpet needed cleaning or replacement. It served our basic need - someplace to stay not too far from Ann Arbor, a cheap serviceable room that was available during move-in week at UM.

Nice hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave worked well. Free breakfast, but waffle maker was not working.

It stunk. After calling to confirm a late arrival for Thursday night that we would not be there until after midnight because I plane did not land till after eleven then picking up the rental I new we would not be there before midnight. So the person I talk to at the Motel said not a problem but on our arrival at 12:45 am we were told they had no rooms and our rooms had been canceled because we were not there by 6"00pm. I explained that I called that morning and reconfirmed everything. The lady at the desk just laughed and said oh well. I feel expedia needs to address this also.

Good for the airshow

Posted Aug 17, 2014
I stayed here two years in a row for the Thunder Over Michigan airshow, it is very close and convenient to the venue. Close to services and food. The price and location are good for a stay for this airshow.

Pros: Close to expressway and places to eat
Cons: Exterior lighting.
Not much in the way of extras, but nice room, clean and 10 minutes from DTW Airport. Great value for the money.

Good 3-night stay..!!

Posted Jul 20, 2014
While in town I developed "pink eye" and was pleased to find an Urgent Care facility adjacent to the hotel. Also adjacent is a USPS facility, restaurants, gas stations, a small strip mall and, very conveniently, a well stocked liquor store, all within a 5-minute walk. Hotel staff was very, very friendly and helpful. On the downside, hotel is almost impossible to see from I-94, or from anywhere for that matter; probably easier to see from the air..!! My room had two beds, which I didn't need, and I had a hard time navigating the desk chair between the desk and the foot of one bed. Also, the breakfast nook has four tables with four chairs each, all packed into a small area, making it difficult to move around when other guests are lined up for breakfast. I went to high school in Belleville years ago and vowed to never again return to that town. It was unusual to be so close to BHS, but I didn't venture across the bridge. For those without ill memories of the town, the nearby lake offers much watery entertainment.

Quick exit off 94 from airport

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Bedding very clean, bath tub very clean, maybe new. Location perfect.
Cons: Entrance lobby decor dated
Location: Get on highway to home
Easy to get to from Detroit airport, yet out of airport range. Sheets and bathtub very clean, however the room chair had what looked like a grease stain, I assumed it was from pizza, as they have room signs to order. When I arrived the garbage can by entrance was loaded and a pizza box was on the ground. The place worked for what I needed. Price ok and location on my route. I was on ground floor and close to front and it was quiet. Looks outdated and shabby.

reasonable motel

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: room was nice
Cons: beds could have been softer.
Location: Culvers across the bridge.
The only really bad thing about this stay was they was working on the road to the motel. so it made it difficult to get out with just turning left if you wanted to get back on the highway.
