Nice hotel in the English countrysidePosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: The setting and the service
Cons: Restaurant food
Location: This is an area where there are first class restaurants particularly in near by Bray. One can also visit Windsor with its castle and shops.
A very pleasant hotel by the river Thames close to Windsor, Bray and Maidenhead. Set in very pleasant surroundings with beautiful gardens and a 9 hole golf course. The staff was always ready to help and it is service with a smile all the way. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The only negatives we found was the fact that room rates change from day to day so for our 3 night stay, we paid a different rate for every night ! There may well be an explanation but it is disconcerting. The hotel restaurant is set in pleasant surroundings but I would not boast about the quality of the food. Service was excellent but the menu needs improving.

A lovely location and luxury hotelPosted Nov 1, 2014
At only slightly more than the nearby regular chains this hotel far surpasses what any of the others can offer. The staff were wonderful and the room superb with a fantastic view out over the river Thames watching the rowers practice. My only regret was that we only stayed one night - next time we stay in Windsor I will ensure we stay here again.

Charming old hotel along the riverPosted Oct 27, 2014
Had a lovely overnight stay in this gem of a hotel this weekend. Beautiful location, wonderfully helpful staff who even gave my partner a special complimentary Birthday breakfast. Enjoyed the walks along the river, nice gym and leisure facilities and very comfortable accommodation. My only regret is that we only stayed one night, not long enough to take advantage of all the hotel had to offer.

Gracious havenPosted Oct 9, 2014
My brother and I wanted to give our parents a special stay during their trip to England and we could not have chosen a more lovely hotel. Excellent staff added to the general atmosphere of gracious and peaceful elegance. Having an outdoor eating facility allowed us to enjoy the beautifully manicured grounds and gently-flowing Thames at our leisure. In short, Oakley Court was a sensational success. Thank you for making our parents' stay so memorable.

Oakley CourtPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Stunning hotel, good breakfast, good staff
Location: Just a little to far out of Windsor to walk
beautiful hotel, staff very helpful, only downside was we thought it would be closer to Windsor than it was, was hoping to walk there, but had to take the car

Noisy roomPosted Aug 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our room was nice and clean. Pool was a dissapointment & kids not allowed in at times we wanted to use plus they are not allowed in spa, sauna or steam room. The room had an adjoining door to the next room so we could hear the people talking & watching TV as if they were in our room - not impressed. Food menus looked very nice but did eat there. Location was very nice and relaxing.

Beautiful grounds but rooms need updatingPosted Aug 22, 2014
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the entrance is very stylish. However the room I stayed in was tired looking with wallpaper patched over, finishings in the bathroom were poor and metals starting to rust. The staff were all very pleasant but it was not worth the £150 per night charge.

Great location, great service...Posted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Used for a family weekend break and exceeded expectation. The only minor gripe was that the room felt very dark but not enough to worry about.
