“Elbow Beach is Exclusive”

Our recent trip to Elbow Beach surpassed my expectations. It is an exclusive resort on 50 acres with breath-taking views. The staff was beyond helpful, friendly and very accommodating. The hotel has a grand entrance and a lobby room with pool table, wide flat screen TV, coffee and tea maker and four computers offering free internet access. There is a art gallery and gift shop on the same floor. The actual hotel rooms are not being utilized right now but no worries as the cottages are spectacular. We stayed in the blue cottage and it offered a comfortable King size bed with a sofa pull out, coffee station, mini bar, marble bathroom with shower and jacuzzi. Open the doble glass doors and there is a private patio with two lounge chairs and table/chairs with an amazing view of Bermuda paradise - the ocean. There is tennis, putting greens and heated pool. Pink sand within walking distance. We visited other beach front resorts on the island of Bermuda to compare to Elbow beach and there clearly was no comparison. Hands down Elbow Beach is the place to stay. George, the bell cap was like family after the first day! Across the street is St. Michael's Catholic Church and Paraquet's restaurant is the place locals dine at so we checked it out - it's like a diner/coffee shop which offered good food. Modern Mart is right down the road where you can get snacks/water/ice pops, fruit, etc. Elbow Beach offers several restaurants as well. The bus stop is right outside the resort.

“A great 4 night vacation”

Overall a very nice experience. We stayed in a garden suite that was clean and in a good location. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach or up to the main building. The room attendant Lois was extremely nice and accommodating. The internet in the room was spotty at times. There are computers in the library of the main building that provided free access which I would recommend using rather than the $13.95/day for in room access. The beach was very relaxing - both clean and with plenty of room. The food was good but not great for price. It would have been nice to have a little more variety on the menus of the restaurants on site. I stuck to mostly alcoholic beverages which were delicious. Cab ride to Hamilton was $12-15. Cab ride from/to airport was $30. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Staff very attentive, helpful with activity planning. Would be better with a meal plan, however. Eating gets to be a nec. evil...

“Great place for a honeymoon!”

We went for our honeymoon and this hotel is all that and then some.If you are looking for privacy and beautiful beaches this is the place!The food was fantastic,room service was great. All of the staff was very polite and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Be sure to go to downtown Hamilton. There are a lot of differnt resturants,bars,and shops. Bermuda is the kind of place where you feel safe!

“Luxury in the sun”

This was a 7 day break over New Year, with choices of entertainment on New Year's Eve. The buffet and disco were excellent, and there were fireworks at midnight. The hotel was newly refurbished and the rooms fantastic (we were upgraded to a Premier Ocean View room, I think because they wanted hotel rooms for New Years Eve). Gardens lovely, with choice of pool and beach for sunbathing. The Sea Horse Grill was superb, and there was a 2-for-1 offer on from 2 January as this is low season - wonderful 3 course meals for $80 for 2. Mickeys Bar on the beach and the poolside bar closed on 2 Jan. The Veranda Bar was a lunchtime option, but the service was rather poor, the food luke-warm and mediocre, and in the evening the staff were not able to explain what was on offer for Happy Hour. Overall, very luxurious place on a beautiful and friendly island, with an easy aiport - I would go back.

Great service. Very friendly. We had a great location and the hotel even surprised us with some champagne and a happy anniversary cake.

“Comin' Back Soon”

This is a lovely property on a beautiful stretch of beach. It is Immaculately maintained and staffed by friendly, well-trained staff, as one would expect from a hotel operated by the Mandarin Oriental group. It has five dining facilities, one of which - the Seahorse Grille - is a top-rated restaurant well deserving of the praise. I particularly liked the Wine Buffet. It's a November special at the hotel, with 14 or so very nice wine choices and descriptions to help you have your own tasting during dinner. I can't wait to return.

“Relaxed and peaceful location”

Elbow Beach has a main hotel building and a charming series of small "cottage" style suites in landscaped grounds. Staying in these hotel suites adds to the feeling of peace and tranquillity. The beach is superb. Very helpful and friendly staff and good restaurants. We look forward to returning!

hotel and staff were phenominal. we were treated like royalty. food was expensive but if you know that going in it won't come as a huge shock.

“Bermudas Best”

We have been to the island many times and have stayed at Elbow Beach a few of those times. Great beach, great staff,a great place to have a bermudaful day. Bermuda is the only place to vacation for us. Yes, the sand is pink.
