I arrived late about 9.30pm after a 3 hour drive to find out I had booked the wrong date, and only room available was another £149 on top of the £49 I had already paid. I was devastated but fortunately Liz the shift Manager stepped in and saved the day. She made some phone calls to senior management and arranged for me to pay and extra £25 and they gave me room for the night with breakfast. I was staggered at the way she dealt with the situation, I was tired and stressed and had an interview the next day, so really didn't need the hassle. She calmed the situation down and sorted the problem. I was able to check in, get a hot bath and a good nights sleep and good breakfast in preparation for my interview all thanks to Liz. Wonderful job from a wonderful human being. Thank you.

Great hotel at a great price. One thing to bear in mind is that there are no lifts, so if mobility up and down stairs is an issue for you, this needs to be mentioned before booking. There's a good Indian restaurant attached to the Hotel - Anju's, and is well recommended. The hotel is at the end of a winding road and is quite difficult to find, but worth the effort.

I've noticed a slightly racist undertone in some of the other reviews here. The person behind reception was non-white and extremely courteous and spoke perfect English. The room was very clean along with the shower room. Internet is only usable for browsing and not probably not suitable for business. Otherwise excellent all round for the money.
