We found Traders very convenient and everything worked as we needed. We would certainly stay there again and recommend it to others.

Traders Hotel is in a great location in Brisbane.Posted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: Great accessibility from the airport. Took the train both ways with luggage and not a problem rolling the bags.
Cons: Provide ear plugs.
Location: Roma park was a pleasant surprise.
It is at the Roma train station in downtown Brisbane. I booked 2 stays Dec 31 to Jan 2 and Jan 3 to Jan 4 and requested Roma Street side and King bed. First stay was on Roma Street side but they gave us 2 double beds. Cozy since we have a king bed at home. Checked out to go for 2 days/1 night to Fraser island. When we returned we got a room on the train side with a King bed on the top floor 17th. We could still hear the trains. Recommendation, always ask for the Roma Street side.

Sloppy service but convenient locationPosted Jan 21, 2014
At first when checking in they couldn't find my booking at all and made me feel as if I had no business being there. Check in seemed to take longer than usual. Then my bags took 20 minutes to appear and I had to prompt them twice to bring them up. The room was fine. Modern and spacious. On the afternoon of my second day I returned from a day out to find that I was locked out of my room. I went to reception to check my card and they were quite flippant, asking if I had extended my stay without telling them. I indicated that my booking was for 2 nights as it always had been. No apology or attempt to make it right. The 'fresh' towels that were replaced for the day had dirty marks on them. This hotel looks good and is in a great location but the service and lack of urgency or initiative to make things right or easy for the customer need improvement.

Worst hotel ever .Posted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: Only saving grace is the location is next to brisbane transit centre.but then there are other hotels like 10 secs away, wieh I had gone there.
Location: Queen st. Mall, southbank parklands, roma st parklands, china town fortitude valley, museum, wheel of ferris, city hall, lone pine koala sanctuary.
Housekeeping services wers terrible. Beds saggy , pillows lumpy.be prepared for backaches and neck aches.no cable tv so be prepared for rugby, cricket, the news and more of the same.wonderful when youre trying to unwind after a long day.yeah and you will be woken up at 9am if you are not awake yet by the housekeeping staff asking if you want your room serviced cos they havent got the card that hangs on your door like other hotels...duh.beware of dodgy internet connection as well.hotel is in pretty shabby condition oversll for a 4 star hotel (accreditated) apparently.not ever coming back here.better hotels around I would think.
