Close to the hockey arena.

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: We requested a taxi cab to take us to the hockey game but instead they said they had a shuttle that would take us there, unexpected and appreciated.
Location: We were just there for the night to attend the Sabre's/Avalanche game so the fact that it was so close was the main reason to choose The Adams Mark.
The check in was immediate, staff were helpful and courteous. Room was clean and 'roomy'. Restaurant staff were great, beer was cold and food hot.

disappointment 2014

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Needs up dating every where. Get a new designer or spend some money to up grade. Better food selection
Location: Only good thing was central to arena and shopping. Just would not suggest walking to these not a very safe area to be on foot
Rooms very out dated, pool cold, food just as bad.Hotel staff tried to pawn off regular room instead of room we book. But when questioned about different rates our original room becomes available ? Not very impressed from this point on ward. And breakfast buffet was comparable to much cheeper hotel,(scrambled eggs, bacon, and french toast. all cold at 6:30 am ) Very poor for such a hyped place on internet. And pay to park , that was the last straw.

Nice hotel near the border

Rooms are a bit dated but staff are great. With some shopping you might be able to get a nicer hotel for the same price.

Would stay again but would shop around first.

Pros: It's proximity to the event.
Cons: Hire a maintenance finisher to comb through the rooms and replace the radios or ensure music streaming is allowed through the hotel wifi.
Location: It's a five to ten minute walk from the convention center, canalside and the naval park. It's also right off of the 190 and Route 5.
I stayed Thanksgiving weekend for The World's Largest Disco and the room served its purpose but for how the hotel portrays itself, with pricing to boot, I was expecting a little nicer. The room was very clean and at no point was I uncomfortable with staying there but little annoyances added up to an overall chintzy feeling for a hotel that could be very nice with just a touch more attention given to maintenance. The catch for the bathroom door latch was missing. It had a metal frame with a hole where the catch should be so the door still caught but was very shaky. The power outlet pushed uncomfortably far (~1/4 inch) into the wall when I plugged my phone in which caused the table lamp, plugged into the same outlet, to flicker. The thermostat must have been replaced at some point because the wallpaper stopped about an inch shy all the way around with no attempt at flashing to cover the gap. And this may be getting too picky but the radio was horrible. We wanted to listen to disco music before the event. Two different streaming apps on the phone kept indicating there was no internet service even though the phone's browser worked?!?! So we resorted to the hotel clock radio which could not have had a worse tuner on it. The room served its purpose as a place to crash after a night of drinking and I would stay here again but it definitely did not wow me such that I will not be shopping around again next year.

Just ok

Room was clean, parking was easy, good location. Hotel could not have been more than 15% full. Problem was they put us in a room facing the highway. All we could hear was traffic all night.

Close to where we wanted to be

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room set up awkward (chair / ottoman location) and restaurant / room service pricing.
Location: Walking distance to trolley. Near First Niagara Stadium.
Pricey restaurant and room service but other than that it was a good stay.

Nice hotel, great price

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Good prices on beverages
Cons: heat was on too high in the rooms
Booked this hotel for a guys weekend in Buffalo to see a football game. Great hotel. Good facilities. Just a little too hot in the room, but could be due to the drastic changes in outdoor temperatures. Would definitely stay there again
