Good price for a short trip to Cancun

The hotel is near the beach with an awesome view right outside our balcony. The front desk people are very nice and friendly but unfortunately the rooms need a little maintenance due to our door needed a new battery that it always gave us a hard time trying to get in. But all in all, the hotel wasn't bad at all if you just need to stay in Cancun for less than a week.

Pictures online are misleading-1 star hotel

Pros: Nothing - in bad condition, false advertising on pictures, this is not a 5 star hotel as advertised.
Cons: Everything - remodel the hotel.
Location: It is far from the shopping mall.
The place is not the same as the one in the pictures. The Bel Air Collections in Cancun is run down and needs remodeling. The building used to be Projects and they did minimal changes to make it a hotel. This is not a luxury hotel. I would rate this hotel a 1 star hotel. Additionally, I had booked my reservation with Expedia, to which I had paid a deposit and Bel Air wanted to charge me the full reservation (charge me twice for the deposit). Bel Air staff were not helpful in resolving the issue. Additionally, I had free continental breakfast included in my hotel, but when I went to get my breakfast, it was charged to my room - had to sign a receipt with the charges. When I asked why I was being charged, they told me that this was just a technicality and it would not appear on my bill - though it seemed odd to me and unnecessary. I eventually cancelled my reservation due to bad customer service, frustration with Expedia situation as Bel Air continued to want to double charge me for my reservation; and because of the bad condition of the hotel. I felt I was overpaying for this 1 star hotel.

Pros: The Sun Set corner was absolutely beautiful and was the highlight of our stay. The pool was fairly empty and we really enjoyed that.
Cons: Make it more clear that when you book that it is optional to have the all inclusive package
Location: Convient store across the street, a short bus ride to the Blue Gecko is well worth it. Not too far from Downtown
The Bel Air is a beautiful, quiet, adult only resort. It sucked that one, it comes up as an all inclusive resort and it's just optional. My husband and I were informed on arrival that we did not purchase all inclusive and it would be additional. We did find great priced options off of the property as well as liquor from the convience store located across the street. We informed staff that it was our honeymoon and was told that we would receive complimentary champagne which we never received and the beautiful room set ups that you see pictured, they do NOT provide daily and we only received because I inquired and was told that it was done upon arrival (our room did not have that). We were never offered the complimentary cocktail upon entrance at anytime and my husband's watch was stolen out of the room which we didn't report due to the staff brushing us off the whole time we were there

Book a smoke free suit and got a lot smelling cigar and other air conditioning did not work I had to complain and was moved to another that did not smell but the air was very cold not run

Pros: El servicio en general del personal, tanto de meseros como de recepcion, la comida muy buena. Abril de tabaqueria. Jessi Cruz hostess del restaurante,
Cons: En mantenimiento en general, empezando por la limpieza y los elevadores. Urge mejorar el techo del jacuzi y los asientos de la alberca
Location: Pocas cosas cerca pero con un taxi en menos de 10 minutos llegas al centro de la diversion de Cancun en el area de las discos y bares
Es un poco dificil describir esta estancia, ya que tiene cosas muy buenas en general el personal es atentom servicial, a excepcion del encargado del area del Sushi, tipo poco amable y grosero, el resto muy bien,-Abril de tabaqueria excelente . meseros, recepcion, muy bien, fue muy agradable encontrarme con un a cocina de muy buen nivel con el concepto personalizado de servicio a la carta en desayunos, comida, cena, lo que hace que el nivel de la comida sea muy bueno, pues no es tipico buffet que es mas cantidad que calidad, las bebidas de acuerdo al estandar promedio, pero lo que no me gusto es un deficiente servicio de mantenimiento del hotel, falta mas que nada limpieza, el area de la alberca donde esta el Jaccuzi el techo de lamina o fierro tal vez en poco tiempo se desprenda ocacionando un grave riesgo para los usuarios, y el elevador cuando menos tres dias estuvo fallando, el mantenimiento es algo que no puede faltar en un establecimiento como es un hotel, y pequeños detalles hacen una gran diferencia, un ejemplo te pide reutilizar las toallas para no gastar tanta agua y el colgadero en el area de la regadera no tiene la contraparte para anclarse, asi como puedes ayudar, ojala puedan resolverlo asi todos contribuimos, me parece que hay mucho personal que no se aprovecha al maximo,

Pros: Le personnel d'étage. La piscine.
Cons: Le service au restaurant notamment et à l'accueil.
Location: Juste en face, je vous conseille la petite paillotte avec des prix imbattables pour les excursions, à côté du supermarché.
Après un séjour de rêve en 2008, il ne faisait pas de doutes que nous retournerions dans cet endroit magique. Quelle déception, le service tant apprécié est loin d'être au niveau... Il faut désormais presque donner des pourboires pour qu'on serve à table ... Par contre le personnel de chambre était de qualité. Les chambres au dernier étage subissent continuellement le bruit des caissons de ventilations du dessus, et nous n'avons bien sûr pas pu changer de chambre. De nouveaux complexes ont ouvert et c'est vers eux que je me dirigerai lors de mon prochain séjour mexicain.

Not a very good hotel

Broken room safe, telephone didn't work, the shower had no hot water. None of these were fixed during our stay. The food was over priced and not very good. The staff were friendly.

Pros: The European-style building makes you feel in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.Also the ease of obtaining towels for use at the pool or on the bea

The staff at the hotel is the kindest and most available to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. the restaurant service very good both buffete as demand service. the guy (Alan)in charge of entertaining the guests was very kind and made ​​his job very well.
