bad stay

Pros: The morning desk person was friendly
Cons: the area in and around the hotel should be maintained and the pool should be open in the summer
When we booked our room, we booked for a couple of reasons. 1 The pics of the hotel online were nice and it looked well maintained inside and outside. Not so much either way. Bad. 2 We said we wanted a pool, that was something important because we had our grandchild with us. The weather was warm enough for one but the pool was not opened. Overall a horrible stay. If we hadn't of already paid we would not have stayed at that hotel. Really disappointed. It is just a run down hotel.

Very unpleasant

Looked like they're not taking care of the building, they are very harsh towards veterans and service animals won't be returning and if you book you're charged regardless if you stay or not hotel policy. F.Y.I.

Sad, very sad.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Clean it!
Location: Columbus Zoo
Very unhappy with the room and quite frankly, Expedia. I am very disappointed in Expedia. I never have thought that they would have a place this dirty on their site. I assumed that they checked the places that they sell on their site at least a little. It was unacceptable in so many ways. All we wanted was a clean room to sleep for 6.5 hours, take a shower and check-out. My daughter, wife and I were afraid to lay in the beds. I am not going to list the problems as there were far too many. If you must stay here, take a plastic bag for your clothes so that when you wake up you can throw them into it and disinfect them as soon as you get home.

Front desk clerk was rude. Check in took forever. Requested a non-smoking room but could definitely smell smoke. We received only 2 towels and washcloths. Had two double beds with 3 pillows total that were flat. TV remote did not work and our tv only had 4 channels but our friends next store had at least 40 but their remote didn't work either. It defenately needs updating - getting rid of broken VCR on top of tv would be a good start. Will never stay at this place again and will post on the Rock On a The Range Facebook page for everyone to know for next years concert.

Good Concert hotel

Cons: Communication between front desk and cleaning people.
Location: It is 10 mins from columbus crew stadium.
When we got to our room it was very musty smelling!! There was 4 of us in the room and only had 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. Obviously they don't tell the cleaning people how many people are in the rooms. So make sure you let them know if you stay here. It isnt top notch but for the low price its a good hotel to stay at for a concert. We stayed here for Rock on the range 2014. There is also a train that runs by directly behind this place and its a busy track. So if you are a light sleeper don't stay here.

Terrible hotel.

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Cons: Destroy the property and rebuild
Location: Fairgrounds and Tee Jays Restaurant were nice
The train ran right next to the property. # adults in the room and every day we had to ask for extra towels and wash cloths for the 3rd person. Terrible beds and pillows. Would not give us different pillow went we asked to exchange one. The room next to ours was booked and the customers fought and argued all night!!! I terrible experience and would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dumpy place, dirty

Pros: It was an easy drive to Columbus
Cons: Cleanliness, condition of room, carpets, comforters, pillows, towels
Location: east drive to Columbus. Arnold Sports Festival
The hotel did not have extra towels or pillows. The ones we did have had stains on them. The comforters had cigarette burns in them and the bathroom was horrifying.
