"We had a family reunion at Haggsville Hacienda (33 adults, teens, and little kids) for the eclipse. The property was perfect for a large group with a large outdoor kitchen area and pavillion where had all our family meals. The area is beautiful with the river and bluff right there. It was a short walk to the river where we spent a lot of time splashing, slipping and floating. "We had 4 couples and 4 kids, and booked almost 2 years in advance for the eclipse. The Rusty Rio is quaint and what it appears to be....a fun and "campy" spot. The only gripe we had was that when we booked, we filtered rentals that had hot tubs, and hot tub was listed as an amenity. It didn't work, and likely hasn't for many years.
