“Haiti's Plaza Hotel au Champ-de-Mars”

I just spent 4 days at Le Plaza, Haiti and I was very happy to have chosen this hotel, which despite being close to the devastated Champ-de-Mars, was very clean, quiet and secure. Our room was kept clean and had everything of a 3 stars hotel. I recommend the Rhum Punch at the bar. the best! The food is very spicy and they really try to give it an authentic haitian flavor: " mais moulu, banan, yam ak morue, spaghetti creole " for breakfast... for diner, however I would recommend Petionville restaurants...

“End of Johnsons' Haiti trip”

The restaurant service was very helpful and gracious. A few understand English fairly well and are willing to use it to make the non-French non-Creole speaker relaxed. Tips should be given in cash as those included on yor room &/CC may not get to the server in a timely manner. Drinking water must be purchased after 1st 2 included with room. Little variety on TV.
