A great central place to explore Hanoi!!Posted Jan 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The free use of the internet and pc.s is a real bonus!! The breakfast is plentiful and includes western and local tastes plus fruit. There's also tea and coffee available all day! Overall you certainly get MORE than your money's worth! If you're not interested in flash hotels but want security with comfort in the lively heart of Hanoi, then this is the place to stay!!!

Deluxe room at the top of the building - so worthwPosted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: Easy internet, but seems to be the rule in Vietnam, even out in Halong Bay. No pressure to buy tours
Location: Easy walk to the lake. Plenty of small shops for water and food
Lifts are fast (9 floors about 25 rooms), the room is just as in the pictures.Room is spacious , the aircon is quiet, plenty of hot water and a bath is an option in the more expensive rooms. The breakfast area gets a bit overstretched at weekends, but ample to feed yourself most mornings. Ask the cook for omlette or Pho if you don't see what you want. English is pretty good amongst the staff . Pickup from the airport in a good quality car. Can hear the bells from the cathedral but that's a given. If place happens to be full look for a hotel on Au or De Trieu which has a lot of small bijoux places too. Taxi can't get right to the door of the hotel because it is an alley off Ngo Nuyen but it's only 15m walk.

This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel in central Hanoi with AMAZING staff ,Everything mentioned is true. The staff are beyond courteous and professional, always going the extra mile for guests . the rooms are clean, bright and spacious, the bedding are very comfortable for our tired bodies after a day outing. Breakfast was so appetizing and delicious that kick start to a wonderful day . The tours to Halong Bay and Sapa booked through by Mr.tom on the front desk were amazing, a great value . We really felt taken care of and cannot say enough positive feedback about Paramount hotel . A perfecthomebase while in Hanoi. Thank you Paramount hotel ! You will NOT regret staying at this wonderful hotel .

paramount service paramount staff paramount roomPosted May 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed 3 nights and booked 2 trips and air to the south from here. paramount hotel is an oasis in the City of Hanoi! From the moment we arrived after midnight to welcome fruit drinks, to our departure to the airport we were treated like family. The side trips we booked through mr. tom at the Hotel, included the best cruise ship in Halong Bay! (we were looking at another ship not nearly as nice but wisely followed his recommendation), we had the best guides both in Halong Bay and at Sapa. We had the best room in the best hotel in Sapa. Everything he recommended was exactly as promised, if not even better. When they say, "relax we can take care of that", they mean it! Mr. tom is a man of his word. It was incredible service. They watched our luggage at the hotel when we went on our side trips. Individually fresh cooked buffet breakfast was great! They even went to the train station and walked us out to our train car, which was very important since late at night and no gates or organization just walking over some active train tracks. I could write a book on the service and kindness shown to my son and I only regret that I told you so that next time it will be hard to get a reservation for our return visit ! Thank you to mr. tom and all staff paramount Hotel...!

Above and beyondPosted Apr 8, 2013
Pros: The manager was able to do other travel arrangements for us in Vietnam.
Location: A bit hard to find
The Manager went above and beyond to arrange internal flights and other accommodation for our stay in Vietnam. Upon return, after a 10 day trip north of Hanoi, arriving at 6am in the morning, we were able to return to the Paramount and have a shower and breakfast for USD3, and to pick up our travel documents and hotel vouchers. A taxi was also arranged for an early departure to the airport.
