Great hotel but dont buy their toursPosted Apr 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Htel is great, good location, friendly staff, nice rooms. We stayed with young children and wanted to go to Cu Chi Tunnels. Looked online for prices and also on the street and they sell for around $6. We arrived in the evening so I did not want to walk around all night to find a tour. I asked for private car at hotel, but they said bus is better because there is a guide. The friendly lady showed a broshure, I asked how many people would be on this tour, she said 10-15. The price was $11 so I thought it was reasonable for a smaller group. In the morning we walked out and there was an old 50 seat bus with hardly any aircon. We said we ordered a smaller group so they had to call hotel and she now said she didnt know, she just thought it might be 10-15 people, but she didnt know, sorry, bla bla... so we had to chose to get off and not go or stay... it ended up being a great (but sweaty) day. So, dont book their tours at the hotel, just go out on the street and everyone is selling different tours, shop around until you find what you look for.

Average and fair for the money!Posted Mar 19, 2013
The hotel is well located in a busy part of Saigon/HCMC with plenty around going on. Cleanliness is average at best but the staff were helpful.

small rooms, but clean and friendlyPosted Dec 27, 2012
Pros: Friendly staff, wi fi
Cons: Leaking showers
Location: Right in the heart of the bars and nightlife.
The pace was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast room is very nice, and being on the 9th floor, the view was very nice. Free internet and wi fi was very helpful. The rooms are a little small if you are staying in a twin, there is barely enough room for bags and people, but if you can get room M01, you should be quite comfortable. The tons with the double bed were far more easier to navigate

Clean, Comfortable, EXCELLENT STAFF!!!!Posted May 19, 2012
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: none to mention
First I should say that I have traveled extensively and lived for many years in "third world" countries around Southeast Asia. That being said, if you are looking for 6 star hotel accommodations, you need to pay the money for a 6 star hotel. This hotel was in a great location across from a large park and easily within walking distance from markets, coffee shops, shopping, and nightlife. I really don't think you could beat the location in Ho Chi Minh. This hotel had EXCELLENT staff! All of the staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and spoke fairly good english. Plenty good enough to communicate clearly and converse with. The staff alone is enough to make me want to go back! The facility....this is the only area that I would mark down slightly if I was to mark anything down. But again, you have to remember where you are and what you are paying. My room was clean, comfortable, and safe. Places in the room/building could use a new coat of paint (but that's only if I am looking for something to pick on). To sum up: The hotel was clean, comfortable, GREAT staff, good location, and more than I had hoped for. Having traveled and stayed extensively in places like Ho Chi Minh for years, I have paid the same before and gotten MUCH worse. This hotel was nice and I will definitely stay here again for my next trip to Ho Chi Minh.
Poor HotelPosted Apr 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel is described as a 3* hotel on hotels.com, yet in a brochure in the hotel lobby it states it is a 2* hotel- and is clearly not anywhere close to a 3* hotel from our experience. Very poor breakfast at the hotel, with limited food available and really not directed towards foreign visitors ie no pastries, traditional english breakfast, one type of cereal and limited fruit. Rooms were poor, and not what is advertised or pictured on the website. Hotel staff admitted the pictures were mocked up for the website and brochures and then furniture removed. Our first room had no window, shower curtain was covered in mould, floor was dirty, bathroom window as broken and shower was broken. Our second room, upgraded room, did have a window but still bathroom window was broken and shower cubicle was black with mould. Worst of all, we had ants in the bed which resulted in us checking out 3 days early and finding ourselves another hotel, incidently, another 3* hotel which was luxury compared to this one which confirms the fact this is not a 3* hotel. I would not advise anyone to stay here. The only positive point about this hotel is the location, in the centre of the tourist/backpacker area but there are many other hotels in this area.
