Rough night!Posted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: Staff was friendly, room was clean and it was a lower priced room.
Location: Jackson Hole is near the Tetons and Yellowstone, Tons of shops and nightlife in town!
The hotel room itself was clean and tidy. The staff was nice and the price was decent. However, there was no air conditioning and it was warm enough that we needed to crack a window. What made the night so rough is that I don't know if it was a family on vacation or a live in family....but they were up until 3 a.m. each night we were there. We could hear them talk, laugh, walk around, etc. Also, the hotel is right behind restaurants. We could hear employees come and go, garbage being emptied, etc. Lastly, the front office is a little hard to find.

Badly manged motel in the center of the town.Posted Sep 27, 2013
Cons: Renovate from bottom to top otherwise demolish it and rebuilt it.
We booked two rooms for one night. For check in you have to go to another adjoining Motel (follow the directions). Rooms were dirty, full of stinky smell. Towels, Linen and bed spread appeared to be cleaned but look dirty!! Rooms have original carpets from the day motel was built !!!. Never cleaned. Breakfast area has only 2 chairs and it was in the next door motel. From outside of the motel is like a haunted place. Save your money and sleep in your car.

Nice and cozy roomsPosted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: TV with many channels, hair dryer, iron, ski racks
Location: Close to grand Teton and yellowstone national park
Rooms are pretty clean. Beds are good and comfortable. Nice place to stay. Worth the money. Do not expect great breakfast...snacks only. Try to take power surge protectors to connect to expensive electronics.

Quiet location near town centrePosted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: Location, quiet
Location: One block from Town Square. Plenty eating places, shops in easy walking distance. Great farmers' market on Saturday mornings.
Had three different rooms. One small and dark, one bigger and nicer, third spacious and well-equipped! Chose El Rancho because on right side of town for Yellowstone and airport. Near a busy junction, but a block behind, so no traffic noise. Parking limited - get there early. Front desk at Anvil Motel next door, on N Cache Street. Good value for money - would stay again; worth paying a little more for bigger room.

Quaint.Posted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: In the centre of town
Cons: Decor could be improved and breakfast bigger
Location: This motel was in the centre of town. Try the Silver Dollar Bar and sit on saddles! Its only a small town so can be walked very quickly.
We stayed for just 1 night in early September. This was a typical motel you see on TV. The room was small and very dark, although mostly of dark wood. The bed was only a small double There was a ski rack in the room but I'm not sure that there would be enough room left for those and luggage. Tea/coffee maker provided as well. Breakfast was minimal consisting of yoghurt/granola bar/muffin/apples and tea/coffee.As there was only two seats most people stood around or took it back to their room. This breakfast was provided at the Antler Motel so if you stayed at the El Rancho it was a couple of minutes walk away I'm not sure that the breakfast would be enough if you were staying there to go skiing. However it was OK for one night and the lady at reception was very nice and helpful

The worst motel in which I have ever stayed.Posted Sep 14, 2013
Location: It is close by to everything in downtown Jackson and that part is very nice. But, there are about a zillion hotels right near by. Go stay there!
No one said there was a dinner/dance club that shares the parking lot with the El Rancho Motel. The music and loud everythign went until nearly three in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can have this one.

Not greatPosted Sep 10, 2013
Cons: Maintenance of rooms and building
The motel is run down, hard to find the office and rude staff. It was clean, but for the price there should be maintenance and repair. It had burned out light, tv that flickered and a broken chain on the fan and main light so that turning off the switch on the wall also turned off the fan. Probably was worth 1/4 the actual cost

Severely needs remodeling. Very poor quality for the price. On site staff responsive, however, reservations people had such thick accent I could not undestand them. Would not recommend this motel to anyone & would not stay there again. Reasonable clean.

A bad experenicePosted Sep 6, 2013
Drove there after dark and had trouble locating this place. No large sign ELRancho and met a lady smoking a cigarette in the dark on the porch and asked her where the El Ranco was located. She said I had the right place back I would have to go around the block to get my keys for my room. We went down an alley and around the block to a business to get the key, Big disapointment and I would not want anyone to experience this place.
