Convenient location but room was disappointing!Posted Jan 11, 2014
Pros: Convenient location & friendly staff.
Cons: Quality of bed bases (eg, so they don't make so much noise!) and a bit more warmth in winter.
Location: Conveniently located near to the Opera House, Tower, sea front, train station, shops & places to eat.
Luckily we were only staying one night! The room was very draughty during the night & the bunk bed made so much noise we barely got any sleep!! Corridors & bathrooms were also cold... opening the door of our room meant losing some of the little heat we had from the electric heater. I didn't expect much for the price i paid, but considering it was supposed to cost more it was very disappointing.

Very Small Room, Very Small Bed.Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: Close to the WinterGardens, the beach and shopping.
Cons: Better Shower with Hotwater
Location: A bit tricky to get to if you from the train if you don't know Blackpool but once found it is close to pretty much everything you would want to do
We were in Blackpool for a festival and did not want to pay a ton. We got a very small room, with what we think was a rickety childs bunk bed (it was purple) on the top floor. There was a tea kettle in the room which was nice. We didn't spend much time in the hotel since we were there for the festival. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They were interested in what we were doing and how our day was when they saw us around. They were very helpful for directions. The location was great for us, close to the venue so we could stumble back no problem. We have no real complaints about the hotel, you get what you pay for, except that there was no hot water (or at least we couldn't get it to work at full blast, only a dribble for the shower).
