Tiny village of Casamassella (10 mins walk from Uggiano La Chiesa, so don't use that for satnav) with just one restaurant, but this B&B is remarkably good. Elegant, sophisticated, gorgeous breakfast and lovely warm welcome. Lots of local information plus beautiful pool and gardens. Just everything you need and so much more than you would expect in this tiny village. Quite excellent and beyond expectation.

"Lovely family run accommodation - great location"
Having ambled through the streets from the station I was very pleasantly surprised on arrival at Dimora Vicolo Corto. The gates were locked and I had to telephone them to let them know we had arrived but they were there within a minute to check us in. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Seemed to be quite new. We had three rooms in our own wing. Breakfast was simple as with many places in Italy. If you expect to be waited on this may not be for you. Rooms were not cleaned during our 4 day stay but I was quite happy to be left in peace without the usual disturbance from hotel maids etc. Very friendly family. Would recommend to anyone looking for cheap, clean accommodation in a great location in Lecce.

We stayed in Leverano for a week to enjoy the crystal clear beaches of Porto Cesaro and to see the surroundings of beautiful Salento. Laura and her partner were extremely nice and helpful throughout our stay. They are knowledgeable about the area and tipped us with the best beaches to go, where to go for yummy dinners and to buy the best fruit! Our room and the entire house were beautiful and kept to very high standards; we even had air conditioning in the room which was a real bonus with the high temperatures in the summer!
Thank you both for making our trip so smooth and such a rememberable one! :) Mariana & Domenico

Paola made us feel right at home serving us with freshly made coffee and providing us with fresh fruit and juice. The delicious breakfast of fesh fruit and yogurt with a variety of preserves and those excellent pastries/cakes all made by Paola were wonderful! We needed the walk into Matino to burn it off and the steep climb back to the house after. We were very comfortable and the view from the house across the town and countryside to the sea and Gallipoli are amazing.Thankyou very much Paola and Aldo we hope to see you again soon.
