Boutique-feeling hotel in great locationPosted Jul 9, 2014
Stayed two nights during a business trip. I arrived on a redeye and had requested before I left to do an early check-in. The email I received back said that it couldn't be guaranteed and will be determined once I arrived. I got to the hotel around nine AM and they already had my room ready and they didn't even charge me for an early check-in fee. I was so grateful! The hotel staff members were also one of the nicest, most sincere people I've ever met in a hotel. They really helped make it feel like I was coming home even though it was such a short stay. The room itself was clean, decorated nicely, and very comfortable. I loved the sleek bathroom design. Since it was for business I could expense it; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to afford it. But if you have the money, I think it is worthwhile due to its central location and great service.

Just a holiday in LondonPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The Desk staff were five star people. Hashim (aka Hamish) :) and Annaise were 2 seriously knowledgable and lovely people. Knew London very well.
Cons: The single chair in the room was horrible. Good desk chairs would be better. The shower floors are to slick when wet, dangerous to be honest.
Location: Right off Leicester Square. Within short distance to Regent St., Picaddilly Circus, Soho, China Town and the square itself. Movie theaters
The hotel is part of a two building group. One is the Hampshire Hotel, and the other is the Leicester Hotel. Both Radisson but I suspect both not the same quality in rooms. I was put into the Radisson Leicester Hotel which is in a very nice location. What can I say other than it is a decent place to rest from wandering London as a tourist, shopper, diner.

Nice hotel at an awesome locationPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The location is very central, the area is extremely busy with tourists and yet the inside the hotel is surprisingly quiet.
Location: Leicester Square is the very center of London. You are steps away from the main museums, the theater of the West End, Covent Garden, etc., etc.
It's on Leicester Square, on the Piccadilly Line, a direct trip from Heathrow, very convenient. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful.

Central locationPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Central location close to tube stations
Location: Walking distance to west end theatres, restaurants and shopping !!
Hotel staff gave exceptional service. The hotel is situated just off Leicester square and we had expected a lot of noise, however this was not the case. The hotel breakfast was good quality with lots of choice, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Nice hotel. Good local facilitiesPosted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Staff. Eggs Benedict. Central location.
Cons: Service at breakfast was a little disorganised.
Location: Right on the edge of Leicester Square. Easy access to much of central London.
The hotel is hidden down a side street just off Leicester Square and, like many others it would seem, we walked into the main Radisson hotel which actually fronts the square. This did leave us feeling like we were paying a lot of money for a for something that wasn't the real thing. The staff were, however, helpful and put us back on track. The main hotel facilities are available to guests on both sites and the bar is nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the windows opened for a view of Big Ben, the back of Nelson and the Eye which must count as better than the Odeon. The staff were friendly and helpful though they clearly need more on at breakfast - existing numbers were just not enough to keep up - though the second morning was better when the room was not so full. The Eggs Benedict was a great treat though I'm not sure why they charge an extra £2 for a slice of smoked salmon with it - in an upmarket hotel like this it felt a bit cheap. Overall, well situated, comfortable and friendly.

Certainly not worth the money we paidPosted May 14, 2014
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Reception staff need to make the person feel special. Acknowledge the customer even if they are with other people. Apologise for a wait if necessary.
Location: Centre of Leicester Square.
From the moment we arrived, the receptionist did not speak clearly, we did not feel like this was a four star hotel. We would have had better service in a Premier Inn. The room was small, the bedside cabinet chipped, the card to welcome us had the wrong name on, the bathroom was so badly designed there was hardly any room to spread out make-up and a wash bag without fear it would fall into the toilet. There were no net curtains or shutters so if you wanted privacy you needed to have the blind shut and no natural light. Very substandard.

The May Fair HotelPosted May 2, 2014
Pros: The May Fair was brilliant, staff, food and room was great. spotless and nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: Not really it was fab.
Location: We were nearby Bond Street for shopping, the tube was at the end of the road. Everywhere was locatable easily.
When we arrived the room had been over committed but they put us in a taxi which was paid for by the hotel and they had reserved us a room at a 5 star hotel The May Fair in Mayfair. We also had breakfast included which was not in the our booking. For the inconvenience which was none at all we treated most fabulously. I have no idea what the Radisson Blu in Leicester square was like but the staff on reception were fab.
