This extremely central hotel is great for dining galleries theatre and shopping. The staff helpful and friendly only down side are the small rooms which are rather dark and dreary

Uncomfortable and noisy

The location is great and good decor but the bar has been booked out for a private party so I was unable to take a drink in the bar and as a lone female I didn't fancy going out in Leicester Square on my own at 10.30pm so went to bed only to have a bed that could have been made of concrete and to have the grind of what sounded like a drill somewhere in the building

very central but not cheap

Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: central location
Location: location is just off Leicester square but off a side road so even though there was a red carpet event in Leicester Square the noise is not noticeable.
we arrived before check in and our room was available. lobby is minimal but staff helpful. room clean and good size for the central location. TV minimal channels (1-5 and international) bathroom is small but well designed, need to book deluxe and above to get bath tub.

Steps to London attractions but a world away

Posted Jan 22, 2014
This hotel is ideally situated just steps away from the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, and all the attractions of Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, and the West End, but on a quiet side street that makes it a peaceful escape from the crowds. My room faced the street, but I heard none of the exuberant nightlife that makes similarly-located hotels challenging for people who prefer to turn in before dawn. Sparkling clean, with quality aromatherapy toiletries, all the amenities, and outstanding service, this is a hotel I will be recommending to all my friends. You might want to skip the expensive room service breakfast and head left for an English breakfast at one of the gastropubs on Leicester Square, which will set you up for the whole day without bankrupting you. With the money you've saved, head to the real, authorized Tkts booth at Leicester Square (not one of the many imitators, where you will be scammed) and splash out on discounted tickets for a West End show.
