Dirty - odors

The staff was not as friendly or welcoming as I have found at other hotels in this price range - upon checking in the clerk tells me that I have to provide an addition $100. Deposit because I booked through Expedia.com - if I had booked directly with them there would be no added fee. Ultimately they waived the fee but warned me "next time you pay" (nope-won't return to this hotel) upon entering the hotel I noticed worn out paint - dirty floors in the lobby and hall ways. Upon Entering my room there was a very strong odor of what smelled like a week old box of donuts - I searched the room thinking I would find a stale box. Found nothing. I called the front desk to ask where the ice machine was - nope they don't have one but did say they have ice one my freezer waiting for me - I opened the freezer (not thrilled about the ice being exposed to all previous guests) and found two trays ....both of them had several cubes missing from the trays - confirming my suspicion that the ice was handled by "other guests" NO THANKS - I couldn't get out of this hotel quick enough - I was thinking maybe the cleaning crew would have the hotel looking better my morning - NOPE - it was worse. Not recommended

Nice Hotel with friendly staff

Pros: friendly staff, the room we stayed in had a refrigerator micro wave sink and kitchen utensils very nice.
Cons: for what we paid to stay it was good.
Location: good
we checked in late and that was convenient for us, the front desk staff was helpful.

somewhat dissapointing

Pros: staff was very friendly. location was great for the purpose of our trip
the hotel overall was ok. Our room smelled like smoke alot of the time, even though it was a non smoking room & floor which was disgusting to say the least. The 1st day we were there, there was a major leak on the 1st floor which caused them to shut off the water to the whole hotel, without any warning, and mid shower at that. Even though the overall trip was a success, I wouldnt recommend this hotel to any friends & would not be my 1st choice to stay here again
