I'd Rather Sleep at a Homeless Shelter!Posted Nov 25, 2013
This hotel is by far the dirtiest, most stained, and most dilapidated structure that I had the displeasure of staying at. Although it is inexpensive and close to the Myth, don't stay here! It's disgusting!

Needs some maintentance and updating.Posted Oct 30, 2013
The room was comfortable but quite outdated and was in need of some repair (dresser handle missing, toilet paper roll broken, and the love seat definately has seen better days. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having the fridge and microwave, not a horrible deal for the cost of the room. Continental breakfast was pretty bleak. I'd rather pay a little more for a little nicer hotel.

In an area I'm familiar with.Posted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: I liked the customer service I received when I checked in and when I wanted the room change.
Cons: The interior needs a facelift. The rooms definitely need updated appliances and t.v.'s. The pack and play was beat up and needed to be replaced.
Location: The location is great, it's off the highway and freeway. Its across from the mall and there's a lot of bars and restaurants walking distance.
When we got to the hotel it was a lot shabbier than we thought it was going to be. We were booked with a smoking room which I didn't ask for but accepted anyway. When we got into the room I was disgusted by the smell and the lack of cleanliness. There were burn holes all over the floor and were cigarette butts on the floor. I was not going to take it especially since I have two children under 2 yrs. I hadn't been in a smoking room in years and don't remember them being this bad, but this was bad. I immediately went down to the front desk and told them what was up with the room and that I didn't want it. The gentleman that was working agreed that wasn't acceptable and got us a new room on the main floor that was non smoking and told one of the housekeeping staff to tend to the other room to clean it. Once in the new room we were satisfied that it would do for the night, since that was how long we would be there. It wasn't as bad and it was clean. I was also provided with a pack and play for my youngest which came in handy.

This was the worst motel I've ever stayed at.Posted Oct 28, 2013
Insects were crawling out of the seals of the toilet. The shower stall was cracked in several places. The furnace was malfunctioning all night. The continental breakfast area was messy. This included spilled cereal, crumbs, syrupy tables and an overflowing garbage can. The coffee was not hot enough. There were not enough towels in the room.

Old and FlithyPosted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: It was a bed when we had trouble finding a bed for under 100
Cons: Try a renovation for the carpets are so stained and dirty they won't come back.
I only stayed here because the city was really booked and I had to leave the super 8 I was at. The price was too much for a filthy dump like this one. Management needs to put some love into this one. I couldn't get comfortable in the place it was so filthy. I tried the coffee for breakfast and threw it out. We ate somewhere else. We got in and out as quickly as possible. Pillow cases looked like they had just reused them. The sheets were the only thing that looked almost clean and there was a nasty stain on one. Old and filthy. we would never consider going back.

A NIGHTMAREPosted Oct 1, 2013
The building entrances are ALL completely unsecured and couldn't look any worse - vandalism and incredible neglect. All I wanted was to relax in the hottub, but the hottub had been out of order and inaccessible for months! The pool was open, but had alot of debris rolling around the bottom of it. The hallways and stairwells were as disgusting as a crack-house in the ghetto. The tv was decades old, there was hair protruding from the bathroom door, the entry clothes-rod was mangled and appeared to have blood residue on it, the alarm-clock didn't work, the windows were filthy, the nightstand/drawers were badly beat-up, the headboard was falling off the wall, and THE SPRINGS WERE LITERALLY COMING THROUGH THE MATTRESS!! We suffered through 1 night of the 2 we had pre-paid for and decided we couldn't take anymore. We packed up and went home. The desk clerk was not concerned or surprised.

Maplewood Days InnPosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: price, clean, quiet
The Hotel is partially closed. Restaurant and lounge closed. Wireless is poor at best. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Security is good. Located next to Maplewood mall. Continental breakfast is minimal with cold cereal, waffles, donuts, bagels juice coffee and milk. Decent place to stay and discounts for construction workers at 40 a nite.

Needs a lot of maintenance. Asked for a different room after discovering the bath faucet leaked like it was turned on and the ice machine was outside the room and sounded like an airplane. Looked at rooms available and all had broken chairs, missing lamps and stains everywhere. Took the one with the least problems. Wireless Internet didn't work in the new room but did in the one I refused Clerk was very accommodating but I wouldn't stay here again
