conveniently located

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: free wifi, location most of all!
Cons: to have everything working ok,,had a busted lite, not enough soap or shampoo
Location: best thing,,,located near Casino,, also nearby attractions, including civil war notably Harpers ferry, near the Potomac and Shennandoah river ..
The room is conveniently located directly across the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town..The room was clean enough, but one of the lights wasn't working.. I had free wifi which was needed.. Nice touch having coffee in the room..for just an individual it was ok.

The room was decent for our overnight trip to Charles Town and Hollywood Live Casino.

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: NEW OWNERS WHO HAVE HEART, A LITTLE COMPASSION FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.
Greedy business, do not care a crap for customers, they have NO HEART. Myself, friends & family come to that area frequently for the casino, none of us will stay there ever again, and that is a lot of business through out the year.

Close to casino

Hotel was very close to casino, but the room was outdated, things were broken and some things didn't even work. Could use a remodeling.

Hotel very close to Charles Town Races and Slots.

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything.
Location: The only good thing about this hotel is that it is conveniently located near Charles Town Races and Slots.
This was about the worse hotel I've ever encountered. I had to wait more than five minutes just to check in because the hotel attendant had locked the office and disappeared. The room was not clean. In fact, it appeared the sheets and pillow cases had not even been changed. It was just terrible.

I would rather sleep in my car - at least I know it is quiet & clean.

The smell in the hotel was unbearable and very poor upkeep. In some areas the paint was peeling off the wall. The service was horrible and bed linen was not to part. I would not recommend this hotel hot wire disappointed me by registering me in that hotel.

Avoid this hotel, if possible!

The hostess when we checked in had a bit of an edge to her, bordering on rudeness. The amenities were lacking; the room was shabby. I could actually handle the shabbiness, but there were different types of hair found in the bathroom. I would definitely stay somewhere else if you can.

Stay here for half the price as across the street. Five minute drive to the casino. Restaurants within walking distance.

Pros: Close to the race track.
Cons: N/A
Location: Near Summit Point Raceway
The hot water did not work and I could not stay a second night and asked for a refund. the person at the desk said at 2:30 in the afternoon that they could not refund my second night because I didn't check out by 11:00am. I was planning to go back there the first week of May but instead will find another hotel to stay at.
