Really nice

Pros: Very nice room, super clean, free hot breakfast.
Cons: They're working on some of the common areas. The pool was sparkling, but needs a little cosmetic work.
Location: Near the airport and not too far from Graceland.
You could tell that the ownership/management had recently changed, but it was for the better! The room was fantastic and I loved the memory foam bed! The room was fabulous and it looks like they're still working on some parts of the motel. Very nice and would stay there again!

My stay was ok, but i had to leave after one day and got half refund for half day. Who's stays for half day. I will never stay at this hotel again. I turn this hotel into better bussiness. if you make plans to stay two night and have to leave early you want get your money back.

Thought this was a Holiday Inn Exp but it wasn't..

We got in around 9pm and checked in...we found the hotel on the internet and it stated it was a Holiday Inn Express... well, it wasn't and will be changing ownership twice in a few months and will become a Country Inn & Suites we were told - The rooms were very dark and unappealing. The breakfast the next morning was horrible with dried out biscuits & gravy, the pancake machine didn't work, the boiled eggs were sour (not sure how long they were in the refridgerator) and the cereal didn't taste right either. All the while the breakfast attendant played a card game on her computer that we could clearly see from the breakfast table area. The beds were old and sunk way down. The bathroom was ok but had ants and a spider in the shower. The front desk attandant was pleasant but wasn't overly friendly as we checked in. Please know that we were traveling across country and had stayed in many hotels. We are not picky but for a place that charges over $100 a night on a weekday, this was not worth it compared to every other hotel we stayed in on our 14 day journey.

Although the room was clean and very comfortable, the Hotel was a disappointment. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, the signage had been removed and would be difficult to find without a GPS. On questioning the Receptionist about these points the answer was that people who paid cash were stealing the tea and coffee makers so it was decided to stop this by removing them from each room. Also the Hotel is in course of being taken over by another chain thus no signage. We were unable to buy laundry powder at the Counter because we were told that Manager kept the key and did not visit regularly. The attitude of those manning Reception left a lot to be desired at this Hotel.

Staff was great and room was clean! Room and hotel is a little outdated but clean none the less. You can tell the hotel is in a part of town that was once busy but instead the businesses have shifted south of town.

we stayed 1 night. I had asked the hotel ahead of time, if we could leave our car there while we were gone for 9 nights. The girl had said yes. But after we got there we were told it would be $5.00 a night. So the lady behind the desk charged us for 10 nights. For the night we were staying there and the other 9 days. So you must not get free parking for the night that you paid for to sleep in there hotel. Will we stay there again. NO way!!

Pros: One good aspect regarding my stay...the breakfast bar was absolutely wonderful. The food was hot, fresh and delicious!
Cons: Based on the information provided above, I hope you will make the necessary corrections/adjustments.
Location: A grocery store, chain clothing stores, food/restaurants and a local shopping mall were all available. The Memphis Int'l airport is 5 miles away..
When I checked in, I was told by the front desk personnel I did not have a reservation and that the hotel was sold out. After searching for my confirmation the front desk person informed me my first name was spelled incorrectly. Everyday housekeeping removed my used linen, but did not replace the same amount of linen, (Example: 3-4 washcloths were used, but was replaced with 2 washcloths). I stayed in a room with 2 double beds, one bed had a nice mattress, while the other bed had a mattress with a sinkhole in the middle. The room fixtures were very dusty and the telephone in the room was extremely filthy. If I need to call the front desk, I used my cell phone. The bathroom was dusty and the bathroom floor was dirty. Everyday I had to have my key card re-keyed, because after returning every afternoon to my room, the key card did not work. I intentionally kept the key card away from other electrical devices to prevent this problem.

The door wouldn't completely close without some work. There was no hot water at all in the morning AKA no shower, The board under the mattress fell through and my sleep was not so comfortable. I was itching terribly when I woke up like the bed was dirty or something. The bath water was grainy like there were sand particles in the water. Definitely not worth the $100 bucks I dropped but more like $40 room at motel 6.

The hotel is conveniently located to the airport. It is great that the shuttle picks you up and takes you back to the airport. A big plus in why I stayed at this location. There is just no food options close if you should need to walk to them. It was super bowl sunday and I thought the hotel might have some light snacks or something but there was nothing. Considering there is not any food options within close walking distance maybe consider selling snacks for the room later or having a small gathering with a cocktail and snacks...I will be travelling back to this location and often and need a place that can fit our needs. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly, Need better beds and pillows.
