Bed had stains and hairs in it.Posted Oct 4, 2014
The bed had stains and hairs in it. Car alarms went off in the parking lot at 2:30am and 6:00am and woke us. They made me give a $5 cash deposit for the remote to the TV and a deposit on the old metal hotel room key at check in. The provided breakfast was decent. We made it through the night ok and our car was not broken into.

Don't stay herePosted Sep 9, 2014
It's in a bad area I would not stay there stay down on Miami beach even if the hotel isn't great the shopping and dining is excellent. This hotel is in the ghetto. The room was somewhat clean and comfortable but it had an overwhelming smell of air freshener. The shower had a window with shady blinds. You will be scared to go out at night and you're car will be broken into. Seriously.

One of the worst hotel experiences!Posted Aug 30, 2014
Cons: Staff that is courteous. Ironing boards available. A clothes hanging area in the rooms. Better A/C
Location: Close to downtown and AA arena.
A/C was awful. Room was hot so I had to sleep by the A/C which made me sick! I also noticed there isn't even anywhere to hang clothes in the rooms. STAY AWAY from this hotel!!! When I went downstairs to ask for an iron and ironing board to iron my clothes for meetings I was told immediately "this isn't a 5 star hotel!". No, I am sorry, just outright RUDE by the lady at the front desk. Funny, they had an iron though! I have stayed many places on business in Miami area (trying to be frugal) and have better experiences for the same amount of money spent.

Nice hotel with great connection to South & NorthPosted Aug 25, 2014
Cons: WI-FI is terrible. Breakfast is good, but it could be better (add some meals). If you improve this, it will sharply increase hotel services.
Location: The hotel has a great connection to south and north. It´s a good place to stay if you have or rent a car. It has parking area with security.
Hotel staff are gently and helpful. I looked for a cheap and great located motel, and this is one of them! Wi-fi is not good at all areas of the motel. Breakfast is good, but could be better. Adding light meals, different marmalades, fruit diversity would be and option. I might suggest to change breakfast area because it too hot in summer. Otherwise you could have breakfast at motel rooms.

Nice, Affordable Little MotelPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The price was right! It has an adorably vintage feel. Wi-fi worked perfectly the entire time.
Cons: I see nothing to improve upon. It was exactly as I expected.
Location: Nice dinner locations are close-by. Skip the Burger King across the street. It was filthy. I turned around and left. Dunkin' Donuts was much cleaner.
Firstly, I am not a 5-star kind of girl. I am a frugal person and I only spend my money on what is needed. This little vintage motel is just what I needed. I was working at a local office building, on assignment, and preferred something within walking distance. It was neat and clean, definitely built several decades ago (I'd say back with Biscayne Blvd was the "happening" place that it was), but the price was just right. It has recently been renovated. There are several places to dine close by (Soyka was GREAT and Andiamo Pizza was fab.) Dunkin' Donuts is about a block down, across the street. I was there most of a week, and did quite well with no car. Be aware that there is a $10 cash deposit for a real room key and for the TV remote. It was cheerfully handed back to me when I checked out. If you are used to "five-star" then do not utilize this adorable little historic motel. Go to South Beach. But if you appreciate lovely buildings from Miami's past, this is for you.

Decent, not greatPosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The bed was not made after our first night. We had problems with getting towels promptly. The room was ok in terms of cleanliness but felt a little dingy. I would not stay here for more than a night again.

Umm NO!Posted Jul 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
Bed had human hairs at immediate arrival, asked for them to change the linens. They handed me spare linens and went on their merry way with no effort to assist in the change. BUGS in the room, fruit flies living in the bathroom, and mosquitoes and millipedes in the bedroom. Paper thin walls, you can hear other guest and their conversations with ease from inside your room. No Wifi in the rooms, only in lobby. Sketchy area, not an area to just take a walk around.
