We had to delay our check in and I called ahead to the front desk to notify them. My traveling friend was arriving ahead of me so I gave the hotel her name. Everything went smoothly. We were so pleased with our spacious room and the view was remarkable.

"Within walking distance to most tourist attraction"
Hotel was excellent ! Within walking distance to most tourist attractions, staff excellent, breakfast catered for everyone (we had 2 teenagers who loved brekkie), we were in a suite which was excellent, room was cleaned every day, but the best part had to be our view !! We were on 17th floor with an amazing view of the Empire state !!!! Fabulous ! We will be back here and would most definitely recommend.

I needed a quick overnight stay in Manhattan, I booked this hotel while arriving in Manhattan the same day and the staff was very nice, they stored my luggage before and after check in and out so I could do a lot of activities without the headache of carrying my luggage.
Hotel staff helped me get a cab and they were very nice. I would stay here again.

Went for a "Christmas in New York" experience. Great location! Bigger room than I thought we'd have after reading descriptions in other hotels that said all hotels in New York have small rooms. This room was huge! Great shower! Great view of Times Square in workout room. Staff was friendly! Walking distance to Radio City, Rockerfeller, Carnegie Deli, Museum of Modern Art and more! Easy access to subway. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located two small blocks from Times Square and the room is very quite, even with elevator running. It is very clean with comfortable beds and soft towels in the bathroom. They are quick at cleaning. The room is small and there is only one chair the room. Breakfast and wifi are included, which is very convenient, and save one a few bucks.

An excellent hotel choice for our long weekend in Manhattan. The hotel was wonderfully clean, comfortable, well decorated and in an ideal location ( just round the corner from Macy's) for anyone wanting to make the most of the great shopping and sightseeing that NYC has to offer. Hotel staff were helpful and welcoming. There was also a good gym in the basement & the lobby area had a little kiosk selling Starbucks coffee & offering some food at breakfast. One of our party had a room at the back and was woken up by church bells every morning at 7.30am; she didn't mind but if you want to sleep in later than that I would advise that you request a room at the front. We've stayed in lots of different hotels in Manhattan; this has been the best so far.

Stayed here on a first visit to New York City with my daughter, for a week in early December. We needed a central location to facilitate sightseeing, Broadway trips, shopping. The hotel is very comfortable with easily adjusted heating and air con, and our twin room was reasonably spacious and well equipped with television and hot drinks machine. The double glazing cuts out street noise. Good hot shower and very comfortable beds. We were at the back and there was a great view of the Empire State Building from our room. The location is very central, 40th and Sixth Avenue, close to shops on Fifth Avenue and also close to Bryant Park which has a subway, giving access to a subway line up town to Broadway etc, and downtown to Greenwich Village; there is also a cross town line which interconnects with the Lexington line which goes up to the Museum Mile. This location and subway access made it really easy to do all the sightseeing, shopping and theatre we wanted to do.
