Easy walking distance to lots of sightsPosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Service, clean, friendly
Cons: Keep an eye on the coffee, tea and hot water facilities - there were a couple of times when the hot water ran out and nobody seemed to be monitoring i
An easy location to be in - able to walk to many sights and eating places.

Great hotel!Posted Jun 29, 2015
Great hotel, comfortable and in a perfect location. Room was small but we didn't spend much time in it and there was room for our stuff. The staff couldn't do enough to help us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Posted Jun 29, 2015

Wonderfull stayPosted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: We liked the location. The fact that it was a boutique hotel and not over big. The staff knew us and greeted us every day. The complimentary tea.
Cons: Leaky shower door is all we can think of.
Location: East 31st street. So handy for Madison Garden park and the flat iron building. Empire State and Macy's on 34th and just a short walk to 42nd Street.
We arrived early and they looked after our luggage recommending Bread and Butter across the road for a coffee. They really were very helpful throughout our stay. We didn't eat in the hotel but we did use the bar and it was a lovely oasis of calm in a very busy city. Our room was kept clean and tidy every day by the staff, loved the chocolate on the pillows every night when we returned to our room. The location was perfect for us and no outside noise filtered through to our room at all. Really comfy bed gave us a good nights sleep every night.Amazed to find an umbrella for our use so although we didn't need it, it was good to see.....a real first for us. The safe broke and the staff had a fixer there in 5 minutes to repair it.

CozyPosted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: I liked the location and the staff.
Location: What we liked most was the Bread and Butter restaurant on the corner of 31st and 6th. I think it's opened 24/7 and has a variety of foods.
The hotel is located in the Murray Hill District and allows you to get to locations in Manhattan fairly easily. The staff was very pleasant and the hotel is a clean, no frills accommodation. The restaurant looked like it was highly rated, but we didn't get a chance to eat there. The room was small by most standards, but large enough for my purpose. Who stays in their room in Manhattan anyway?
