The hotel staff was among the best I have ever experienced at any resort, from the cleaning staff to the bartenders everyone was extremely friendly and a ton of fun. The entertainment staff was far beyond any I have ever seen. I have already started planning my next trip to the resort

The hotel is located just a short drive from downtown Ocho Rios along a quiet, private beach. For the most part the staff were very accommodating, but at times were begrudging about it (there was no key for the safe in my room. When I asked for a room with a key it seemed to be an imposition based on the reaction. I was ultimately given a different room with a key for the safe but only after a bit of attitude. Also, the phone in the room doesn't make outgoing calls. They seemed annoyed any time I asked to use the phone for local calls)
This hotel doesn't often have buffet mealtimes (only twice while we were there) but the a la cart menu was decent, and covered most of the basics.
The beach was very clean with white-ish sands, but the chairs could use a power washing; lay a towel over it and good to go. The room was also very clean aside from a few ants here and there, but they get in our house at home too so it wasn't a big deal.
Overall a nice place that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing stay while being close to many tourist attractions.
