Comfort inn close to the zooPosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Very close to the zoo, a gas station and fast food places. Quick access to I80. Not to far from downtown.
Cons: It is a bit noisy. The walls are thin, you can hear people talking in the other rooms. The air conditioner is very noisy too.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during the week. In general is not bad but has some issues that can be annoying. We rented two rooms. One of them had some bad smell from cigarettes. Also the air conditioner smelled bad when you turned it on. The walls are thin, you can hear people talking in the other rooms. The air conditioners are very noisy too, I had to turn it off to sleep but I could still hear the one in the room next to us. I could also hear the TV from the next room. Finally, there were two dogs in the room in front of ours barking from time to time and was very annoying when we were trying to sleep. Like most hotels I've been lately, the facilities for breakfast are small. Some people had to take the breakfast to their room because there were no more tables or chairs available. Other than that is not too bad.

Great breakfast assortment!!Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: The breakfast foods that were offered was awesome! Great assortment!
Cons: Pay attention to more detail cleaning hotel and rooms. Have room spray on hand for unpleasant smells in hotel!
Location: This was just a quick stop for my family on our way back home!
The lobby was freezing when we arrived and did not smell good. I'm assuming since it was muggy out and storms were going through the area it didn't help. The river was very close and the outside of the hotel smelled horrible. The next morning lobby was comfortable and smell had gone away. Our room was nice and beds were comfy! The pool was packed so we couldn't enjoy it. The window in our room was dirty and accessories on the walls were dusty and out of date. It was nice to have coffee maker, microwave, and fridge in our room! Great assortment of tv channels as well. The breakfast was amazing! Waffles, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, sausages, scrambled eggs, cereals, juices, coffee, and such. This was the best breakfast we had on our trip!

Great Hotel Near Zoo!Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was one of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in before.
Cons: Definitely the shower pressure. It was pretty poor.
Location: This hotel is just three blocks from the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska! Well worth the price, which was reasonable too.
My daughter and I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in Omaha and enjoyed the hotel quite a bit. My daughter couldn't quit talking about how nice the rooms were and the bathroom was very nicely done. The management of this hotel did a good job of making up a nice room. The linens were clean, the beds were very supportive, and they had two hard, and two soft pillow on each bed to choose from. The pool is a small square of a pool about 4 foot deep at the deepest. Not the biggest pool I've seen in a hotel, but my daughter was happy she was able to swim regardless. The only gripe I would really have is that the water pressure for the shower was horrible. I have come to expect this from most hotels, but it was like having water dribbled upon you while you bathed. After we had checked out of the hotel, I noticed my daughter did not have a stuffed animal that she had brought with her. I went back to the hotel and the manager on duty went to the room and made sure to find the animal for my daughter. My daughter was very happy, and I am very appreciative of the hotel staff for going back to find the animal for us!

Never againPosted May 27, 2014
Pros: Staff was friendly
Location: Omaha zoo
Air conditioner could not keep the room cool enough even though it was only around 80 degrees outside. Only one vending & ice area per floor and the vending machine didn't work. Older, dated hotel. It could definitely benefit from some new paint and carpet.

Comfortable and convenientPosted May 26, 2014
We stayed two nights while browsing through Old Market and visiting the Henry Doorly Zoo. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. Staff were pleasant. Our room was clean and quiet. Water pressure in the shower was poor, but we lived with it. The breakfast was exceptional both mornings! The lack of elevator was unusual, but not inconvenient for us. We were very pleased over all, and would definetly stay there again!

Comfort Inn not to badPosted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Close to Airport and Job I was working on.
Cons: It looked like they were in the middle of an improvement job on the hotel. This will be nice to see.
Location: The job I was working on was about 10 miles away. I did not do much other that go to the job and return to the hotel.
Arrived late on a Sunday night was greeted and processed into my room. Stayed for three total nights and was very pleased. Did not use the pool, but it looked nice.

Location: It's near the zoo (obviously), and the interstate.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the interstate, but it really should have been cheaper considering the (lack of) facilities and paper-thin walls. Seriously, if you are in a room next to someone else, you will hear every word, shout or curse. On the plus side, the breakfast was reasonable - there were even hot eggs and sausages.
