RUN

Posted Oct 21, 2014
This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had! Hotel staff (as well as their computer system) were very disorganized; when we arrived at the hotel, and after waiting about 30 mins in line to check-in, the front desk clerk had no idea which rooms were available/clean and which weren't. I'd never seen anything like it--the woman at the front desk was actually calling the maintenance man to knock on doors to see if they were occupied or not, and whether or not they were clean. Doesn't exactly give a comforting feeling, does it? On top of this, when we did finally get assigned a room, we opened the door only to see PAINT CANS INSIDE and a giant fan that was drying the walls. Needless to say we had to go back down to the lobby to get another room, and then wouldn't you know that when we got to the SECOND ROOM the sleep number bed in it (that they boast about so much on their website and apparently is their claim to fame) was broken. We were so fed up at that point that we didn't bother going downstairs again--who knows what else we would've ended up with! If you can help it, please turn the other way and DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR STAY. Save yourself the frustration!!!

Horrible service.

They gave away my room twice. I was forced to stay in a room I didn't pay for. They didn't offer me anything fit their mistakes.

Nice hotel

Long line to check in. A clean hotel room. I enjoyed how close it was to international drive as well as universal. Would definitely come back.

Nice stay, good localization.

The hotel is located in the international drive, close to several bars and restaurants. It is also not far from Sea World, Wet n'Wild, Aquatica and Universal parks. The only problem was some ice machines out of service.

Good Location

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Location was good and within walking distance to restaurants and a few other stores.
Cons: Put in new beds get rid of the sleep-number beds. Do not rely just on staff and renters to report problems have some on-going maintenance.
Location: There are several very popular restaurants close by. Visit Ripleys Believe It or Not, very interesting. Short drive to Sea World, Universal Studios.
The hotel is in a good location and offered a free shuttle to Disney World. After checking in we were pointed in a direction supposedly to a tower building located outside of the lobby. Having never stayed here before this was confusing but no one offered an explanation or asked if we needed help. This is a totally detached building but part of the hotel. We were not advised as where to park our vehicle. But we were given a parking permit to leave in the car. The building our room was located in appeared fairly new but no maintenance. Our room was clean and tidy. But we could not get a decent picture from the TV. The beds were supposedly sleep-number adjustable, we could not get the controls to work, very uncomfortable. The bathroom taps over the sink were leaking, we told the room cleaning staff, the maintenance people and the front desk check-in staff about the problem, but the taps were not repaired even on the day we checked out. The swimming pool and hot-tub needed some cleaning and there were no towels in the towel cupboard by the pool. Had to walk back to the lobby for towels.

Nice hotel

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Cons: Location and closeness to parks
Location: Universal and dinner shows that we went to
This was a nice hotel, good service and clean. I was not a huge fan of the "sleep number" bed, I attempted to use it and adjust it to my comfort level but I felt like I was just releasing air out of an air mattress. Overall a nice stay though. Nice and close vicinity to Universal Studios

Be careful

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Close to attractions and resturants
Cons: See above
Location: There is lots to do, but beware, if there is a big convention in town, you will wait for everything
This used to be a Raddison and now its a private hotel, you can tell why the Raddison people didnt want the property anymore as it needs upgrading and more. The staff is working on it, but you can yell there have been staff cuts, Long line to ck in, rooms not cleaned until 5pm, things like that. Also, some rooms are better then others, my room had an old 26" tube tv while my neighbors room had a 42" flat screen. Needs some work, id say its ok for a one night stay, but any longer, look elsewhere

Cons: EVERYTHING.
Location: Only good thing is that it's on International Drive
I didn't even get to stay here. The staff "never received" my email confirmation from expedia, so when I arrived this uneducated girl told me they were booked and gave me a free one night stay at quality inn, wish was so horrible. The girl didn't even give me a full explanation, she clearly didn't know what she was talking about.

Unprofessional

Hope I get back my money after they gave away my room. They overbooked the hotel. I had to go to LA Quinta Inn which seem to be a blessing. Friends complained terribly about Allure.
