I loved staying here until my last visit

I reserved my room almost 2 months ahead of the weekend I was due to arrive and when I got there my reservation had been canceled and my room was sold.The hotel told me Expedia canceled my reservation but when I called Expedia they had no idea about it. I believe they sold my room at a higher rate since it was classic weekend..

Resort?

I guess you get what you pay for. Although I think I got less than what I paid for.Free high speed internet was intermittent and very slow at best. The rooms were old and although they were clean they were not very comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel unless you were just spending one night and going to be gone most of the time.

Location: convention center was about a mile away
Front office staff wasnt very nice and kinda seemed like i was bothering them. The man in the tie that checked me in, i think he was actually the manager, was just plain short and a little rude. At 10pm the sliding door to the rooms from the outside jammed up (it was posted they closed at 11p and your room card could get you in) and no ones card worked - a group of us moved the door off the track after no one from the hotel came after 5 mins. The showers were a coin flip if it would be hot or cold water. morning showers were warm and the afternoon showers usually were cold - which was a drag after a long day at the convention center. oh and the elevators took forever! i think we waited almost 10 mins for it to come to the bottom floor one morning - to stairts to climb if you didnt want to wait! You could take the stairs from upstairs but not on the way up as they were set to the outside of the building. it just wasnt worth it. i'll pay an extra 40 a night and stay somewhere else. plus the spanish couple next door that let there 2 year old pound on the door until 11p was a bummer too.

Close to Convention Center

Pros: Close to convention center and restaurants.
Cons: A better TV. Freshen up the rooms.
Location: Great location, walking distance to a wide selection of restaurants. Gift shops and markets near by.
After reading some other reviews I was wondering what I got myself into. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and spacious but could use some upgrading. Parking was easy. The room safe had no batteries, I mentioned that to desk staff, immediate action was taken, too bad not correct action. Two wrong size batteries were left on the desk, the safe needs four batteries. Hair dryer was missing from room , one was brought up after I informed the front desk.

Lack of manteinance and client service

Four times our key didn't open the door, at the fifth, they realize that the room was not available . At midnight in the bathtub was a huge leaking from the upper floor bath. The bed was really uneven.

Potentially Great Hotel But Needs New Staff

This was the second time I've stayed at this hotel. The first time I really enjoyed my stay and thought it was an awesome hotel with a great nightly rate. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience this time around. To say the staff was terrible is an understatement. I came to check in and stood at the desk for about five minutes while the only person working at the desk was clearly on a personal phone call and could not be bothered by my presence. Finally she ends her call and then tells me that there is no record of my reservation in the system. After having me call Expedia and go through my reservation with them, they were not able to find a problem with my reservation. The man I spoke with from Expedia called the front desk and the woman finally admits to me that their system is down and there is no problem at all with my reservation. Luckily, we get our room and it is perfectly made up, the beds are extremely comfortable and the cleaning staff was very friendly. The only other problem we ran into was that we were given three towels in a room that fits four people so naturally we called and requested extra towels which never came. I actually met the manager who was extremely nice and seemed to care a lot about the hotel but unfortunately some members of the staff really ruined our experience.

Locked out of f my room twice...no food or bar..toilet ran every time flushed. .tv 8 maybe channels...blah!

Nice hotel

Great hotel near universal. I would not consider it a resort but it is a nice hotel to stay at if traveling to a theme park. Room was very clean, staff were friendly. We stayed on the top floor.
