Great place

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, pretty area, large room, cable for the relaxing nights!
Cons: Better bedding, there was not a comfortable and the sheets were too short for the bed (luckily I'm short:))
Location: Capone's is right down the street - cheap cab ride and GREAT TIME! Universal Studios about 25 min drive - fun time
Awesome staff!! They were incredibly nice and helpful, brought extra amenities to the room right after I called and were very informative about the tourist attractions around Florida. Clean place, great area, plenty of room for parking. There was even a dishwasher, soap, sponge, washer/dryer, and plates/utensils provided for cooking. LOVED it! Will definitely be back.

Stove didn't work sink leaked and construction was being done outside our window starting every morning at 8 am. Not good they should have put us in another building

Peacocks

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: Peacocks
Cons: Update appliances
We entered the road... peacock crossing sign was awesome. We saw them every morning and evening and fed them and witnessed noises unbelievable from them and even saw them fly. Our pillows were as flat as could be and had to request more to be comfortable sleeping. I was afraid to use the dishwasher because half of the door was sticking out where it looked like it would leak water on the floor if I did use it. No cleaning supplies. Bought a scourging pad to hand wash dishes. The stove was uneven leaning to the back, where when I did cook, I had to put the food at the end of the pan so it wouldn't burn. Beautiful outside, major updating needed inside.

Cheap resort stay with kitchen amenities & shuttl

Posted Nov 10, 2014
We, same-sex couple, wanted to find a quiet place with a kitchen, shuttle to Disney & Universal, pool & hot tub that was affordable for a 2 week stay. We are generally easy to get along with but have high standards. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant, helpful and eager to please. The grounds are cute & picturesque with friendly peacocks walking about. The shuttle, with several drop off & pick up times offered, was clean & timely. Check in was efficient and they considered our length of stay to move us to a suite they knew had a working washer/dryer. The suite needed much more attention to pass our test - all fans, vents, table & countertops, & tub needed to be cleaned and it was time to move furniture to vacuum; also, the dishwasher needed to be set. But the suite was otherwise accommodating. There was a DVD player but you'll appreciate bringing your own selection or finding a redbox nearby as their selection fits in an index file box. We used the Lynx bus for a lot & it was nice to have a bus stop right across the street. The pools were clean and the bar had happy hour & daily specials. We would recommend this resort to someone who was looking for these things at a very affordable rate.

was my 2nd vacation 2 Orlando for Disney themePark

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: It's a bummer this happened because I would have stayed at hotel again when we go back to Orlando next year. But lesson learned. Never leave valuables
Cons: Hotel unprofessional when bad things happen.I did not even ask for a full refund, I only expected that they not charge me for the nights I did not sta
Location: Another clue should have been the dozens of "pawn shops" in Kissimmee (mostly on road 192, I saw this when I went to file report to police station
Booked a 7 night stay, but only stayed 2 nights at this hotel though I was charged for 3 nights instead of the 2 nights. During the course of my first day at this hotel someone took (burglarize room) camera equipment from my room while we were out all day at Disney (no sign of forced entry, so someone with access went in). DO NOT STAY at this hotel if you want to leave your valuables in room. Rooms do not have safe's, they are available only at front desk (which I did not know until after my bad experience). Unfortunately, I did not think this would happen but it did, I never use hotel safe's, but I will from now on, & this hotel having to keep safe's in front desk should have been a clue that hotel rooms are not safe, but I wish I would have asked prior to my stay. When I realized my camera equipment was missing, Manager never available, when I asked to speak to a manager, hotel staff said they were out in meetings all day (although hotel villas were all pretty empty, signs of very little guests). But the young staff never allowed me to talk to management & said they had to charge me for the 3rd night because it was hotel policy (since I did not tell them ahead of time I was cancelling),though how would I have know I was going to need to cancel if my cancellation was due to what had happened. And even more disappointed with the unprofessionalism of staff they did not even said "sorry this happened", their reaction told me a lot as to whether thief was hotel staff vs a stranger

It was an ok stay but i ask for a non smoking room

Posted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: It was nice and private and the front desk staff especially Crystal was awesome and very helpful
Cons: Take up or change the carpets because whatever foil odor or smoke in the room the carpet will keep it in.
It was an ok stay but i ask for a non smoking room and i got a room that smelled like smoke and very musty. My deposit was suppose to be returned to my credit card the day after i checked out on Oct 28th and i still havent received it.
