Large rooms, comfortable and helpful staff.

Pros: The staff, shuttle driver and facilities were awesome! A few things could have been repaired before we got there otherwise it was nicely decorated.
Cons: Better appliances and checking to see that there are no damages... toilet paper holder was almost hanging off the wall, the refrigerator leaked water.
Location: We were in the middle of a lot of shopping, restaurants and parks, so much of it reached by bus.
No shuttle to/from airport... not good! But we loved our condo! It was spacious for two, giving us the ability to make our own meals when we were around to enjoy the facilities: pools, hot tub and bar. The only downfall is that I didn't request a floor condo, way too many stairs when having drank too strong a drink at the bar by the pool, lol. Our King size bed was very comfy and easy to make back up. We were quite surprised at all the storage spaces: walk-in closet, pantry in kitchen, storage unit in main floor washroom and behind the main entrance door. The interior was nicely decorated in textured paint, plants and wall paintings. The pots and pans were cheap and we couldn't leave them for a second as everything burned in them, and there were no SOS pads. The fridge leaked steady onto the vegetable drawer. The toilet paper holder was broken in small washroom in master bedroom. But I'm sure those things could all be taken care of. We were so busy at Disney, Busch Gardens and SeaWorld that we weren't at the condo a lot, but it did give us just what we needed, a good pillow to lay our head on! Seeing the pool closed in the evening was somewhat of a downer, but when there is cause to be alarmed due to the extensive lightning June to August, I suppose maybe I will keep that in mind for our next vacation to Kissimmee.

Not as it appears

We did not pay for housekeeping, so we didn't mind asking for towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, etc., but had to wait approx 2 days for such "luxuries". We accidentally broke a glass bottle on the tile floor, and had to wait 3 days for a broom to clean it up ourselves! Bugs drowned in pool, black stained carpet, burnt out bulbs, ballpoint pen scribbled on bed sheets, to mention a few minor issues. Shuttle service was not available to us for Disney, because our group of 8 was too big. We ended up paying $20/day at Disney, and having to rent a vehicle! Staff was friendly, but not helpful. Mixed up phone messages, passed the blame around.

Pros: Pools were nice and clean. Staff was helpful when there was a problem or concern. Activities for all ages. Shuttle to some of the area attractions.
Location: To do a lot of the activities such as shopping, shows, amusement parks etc. was at least a 15 minute drive to the closest and as much as an hour drive
Resort needs some cleaning/updating of buildings. There were blue tarps on roofs where they had leaks, missing boards, broken windows, units being used for storage right next to rental units(with out the window treatments being closed) etc. At first we were put in a unit that was 1 of 3 units with working plumbing in a building of 20 units. Then we had to ask to be moved when one of the units starting leaking sewer smelling water into our unit. The next unit was much cleaner and nicer.

Nice for the price

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Loved the pools and hot tub areas, and the peacocks roaming the grounds. Very pretty! Rooms were very spacious in our two room suites.
Cons: Grounds could be kept up better and some updates good be made in the suites.
Location: Really closed to WDW, Universal Studios and the Medieval Times.
We stayed three nights as a family of six, drove from ohio to see WDW and universal studios. Busy schedule while we were there so layout of rooms was nice and rooms were very spacious in our two room suites. Loved having a washer and dryer right in the suite.

Dated villa, Good for the money, 19" TV?

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Overall good villa for the money. A 3.7/5 is a bit high in my mind. There was a bath door that would not lock or latch. Dated appliances. Biggest surprise was that they had 19" tvs. I just cleaned out my basket and tried to give my 19" to Goodwill and they refused to take it. LOL. if you don't do tv this is a very good, clean villa. I would use it again.
