Better than I expected.

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Cons: The bed wasn't as comfortable... seemed to me like it was too worn out.
When I saw the pictures online, it looked so much better than when I got there. It sort of looked like a motel, but once in the room, it was better than I thought. The bed wasn't too comfy. I think they need to get new beds, but overall it wasn't bad.

No Way

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Hot tub
Hotel staff was nice and the pool area was acceptable but the room was a joke. Paint peeling off the walls and it looked like a kindergarten class put it on with their fingures. The bathroom was modeled after a broom closet and I seriously think that's what it was. The shower had to be an after thought and was no more than 3' x 4'. The TV was smaller than my laptop screen. Room rate was redicoulous and I estimate it should have been 5 times less for what you get. Too bad, the grounds have a making for a good hotel.

MOTEL, Not Hotel. This is a Motel 6.

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Major room repairs in bathroom, painting, bedding
Cons: Change from Hotel to Motel
Location: Not close to Downtown; in a dark unsecure area.
This looks nothing like the picture online, the room is very small and in desperate need of repairs. The shower is too small for even a child, the front door didn't lock and the room felt dirty. I immediately left and checked into to Hyatt, spend the money for a better hotel and don't stay here.

Great poolside cabanas, improved coffee & WiFi

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: The price, the fire pit (build more!), and poolside cabanas and large hot tub are lovely.
Cons: The bright orange accent paint on dark brown needs to go, as does the neon colored sequined pillows, wall art, and general whimsical design.
Location: Murray Canyon (beautiful hike), walk to Downtown, Ace Hotel's pool parties and bar.
I've been staying at this hotel almost monthly since it was the Travelodge, and when it became "The Curve", some structural improvements were made, but the decor got very bright and cheesy (sort of what someone thinks Palm Springs style is, but missed the mark). We have even thrown a pool party here with much success, the staff was fairly helpful and the attendants were a great group of visitors from all over Southern California. Now, with new owners as of a few months ago, the free coffee has returned to the lobby (YES! This is a comfort I appreciate), the WiFi has become strong and consistent (again, also important, as my husband works when we stay here), the staff are a very friendly and professional bunch (thanks Jonathan!) and little things like in room products have become nicer quality. The place actually has a much nicer layout than the much higher priced nearby Ace Hotel (which was once a Howard Johnson), and once changes like a more subdued color scheme (hopefully) happen, and a proper designer makes a few decisions, this place will be amazing. Word has it a proper restaurant is coming, which will be fantastic. Prior to that, it was a small cafe menu.

This place is way too overpriced for what it is

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Nothing
The place is not located in down town like it says on the add. It's at the end of the Palm street. Pictures look like a whole different place. Way to expensive for this kind of hotel. Don't waiste your money look somewhere else. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Very Tiny Bathroom and the WIFI is broken

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Cons: Should serve free water in the room. It's extremely hot in palm springs. The guests could use some water
We stayed there during March. The bathroom is very very tiny. The Shower stall can only fit in one person. If you extend your arms, you will hit the walls. and when you open the shower door, it almost touch the toilet. The WIFI is broken. The room is clean though and the decor is OK. Maybe due to the indians wells tournament, the price is expensive Since we paid such a high price, we are not too happy about the quality

Clean hotel close to downtown

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Proximity to downtown Palm Springs is close but not quite walkable. It is centrally located to 3 casinos so worked well for us.
Location: The hotel is 30-40 minutes from 3 casinos including: Morongo, Agua Caliente and Fantasy. Close to the hotel are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops
It was a desert casino weekend for us. A group of us spend 2 nights at the Curve. The check in was very polite, quick and easy. The hotel is older but dressed up with modern fixtures and is clean. I didn't spend time at the pool but it did look nice.

Nice clean hotel, king rooms are a little cramped

Posted Mar 30, 2015
The rooms are very clean and newly renovated which is nice but the bathrooms are beyond small and with a king size bed in the room it makes the room pretty hard to move around in especially with 2 people
