Pros: Very accommodating, considering few English speaking staff.
Cons: Shower and tiny bathroom, uncomfortable beds.
Location: Nice quiet neighborhood.
We requested a room on a main floor if the hotel did not have an elevator. No main floor rooms for guests and no elevator - or mention of the request. The staff were friendly, but few of them spoke English. The beds were far from comfortable. To shower was a challenge with french doors that you must close with you inside before turning on the water, no room to avoid whatever temperature the water until adjusted. The continental breakfast offered a variety of foods, The Restaurant in the hotel was convenient, but the waiter did not speak English, although he gets an A for effort. Without an interpreter we took our chances, not always pleasantly surprised. Must add that we were at the hotel for a wedding party on the 3rd night. The party room and the servers were extremely accommodating. The food was plentiful and the beverages never lacking. We asked for a dry cleaner near by to iron wedding clothes and were told there were none but given use of an iron and ironing board to press them ourselves. The location was within walking distance to City Center and felt quiet and safe with many local families walking or riding on the path on the road. We did not have a view of the river from our room, even though it was there on the restaurant side and did have outdoor seating on the river-side.
