Quite good

Pros: Location Size Comfort
Cons: Better supply of toiletries Wifi and tv that work
Location: Close to champs élysées Subway, supermarket and patisserie around the corner
The apartment was really nice and roomy. Bed and couch were comfortable. However the wifi didn't work and neither did the TV. They fixed the Internet on the last day. The toiletries weren't topped up either There isn't anyone on site for check in or help with problems The location was great and I would stay there again but would be very unhappy if any of the problems reoccurred

Location: right by the metro, walking distance to all kinds of great places
An oasis of calm and beauty. Quiet. Slept so well. We loved the clean modernity of the furnishings in the loft space within a stately building with cage lifts right out of a 20s movie.

OK for short leisure stay

Posted Jun 24, 2013
Cons: It's not a hotel. Aircon didn't generate cool air well around unit (and it's a small unit)
Location: Near Arche de Triomphe, Champs Elysee,
Firstly this is not a hotel and not an apartment hotel - ie no reception, porter, room service etc. Not particularly close to a Metro. Near Arche di Triomphe. Apartment is compact, bedroom is a mezzanine and if you had 2 people it would be difficult to sit up in bed as you would hit your head on the sloping roof. Airconditioning system doesn't reach the mezzanine so would hate to sleep there in the height of summer. There is a skylight window you can open but of course then you get the outside noise overnigt but then it's not a particularly noisy area. Lights were out, wifi was difficult to log in to but the lady phoned me back & helped sort it. No milk offered in fridge - was told "but you didn't ask for breakfast" - I didn't know I could and for some 350euro/night I would think milk woud be a staple item when a minibar system is offered. Elevator goes to level 5, my apartment #"Eiffel"# was on level 6 so you need to carry bags up a flight of stairs. Felt safe - two codes to get in. Bars and restaurants nearby. Small supermarket one street over. They have a range of apartments but I would not choose to stay in Eiffel again and not for work.

Overpriced, tiny apts, great location

Posted Jun 20, 2013
Cons: Size - claustrophobic
Location: very good
Highly overpriced hotel. Very very very small apartments - with slanting roofs all over - including over your bed - so it feels like the roof is falling on your head (with only 3 feet between your head and the ceiling). The location is great bit that's it. The staff very very very nice. However, for the price we paid we were very disappointed with both the apartments we had rented.

Good but with a couple of problems

Posted Jun 5, 2013
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Broken lift
Location: Awesome
The lift was broken on check in and on our second day. Having just had knee surgery climbing six floors of stairs was difficult. The room was nice and had a great view. The day we left our neighbors had their suitcase stolen from the lobby. It was 6:30 in the morning so that was a problem. Staff on check in we're great. I would stay there again.

Small and cramped; Poor soundproof - there was a party going on next apartment on the second night until 3am - you can hear most of the dialogues - we finally fell asleep around 4am! The first night dusty and smelly; The second night got better but the broken bulbs in the bedroom and toilet were not changed; Being told that nowhere to store luggage after checkout even you pay additionally 40euros it won't help if you have a very late flight after 8pm. Paid additional 120euros for late check-in after 8pm. A rip-off but blaming myself for not reading terms and conditions carefully enough. Not recommending this place to anyone neither will reuse.

Best location for worst service but good value

Posted Feb 2, 2013
Pros: Location and size of room. Newly renovated rooms
Cons: No staff on location
Location: Excellent. Right on fashionable rue du Faubourg st. Honore
The location is excellent for long stay families. The check in process and the checkout process was terrible there are no staff on site. You have to call in advance for someone to meet you there. Nobody in the surrounding area knows about Helzear. Also there was no sign at the building. So it was a like a detective story trying to locate the place. The reception never answers the phone and the concierge number given me was disconnected. Also the Internet in the room didn't work. But if you are traveling with family this place is superb with its large apartment with kitchen and living room with a convertible sofa bed. Just make sure you email which is the only effective way of communicating with them. Oh and by the the elevator broke on the day we were checking out. We had to lug the luggages down 6 flights of stairs. It's a good thing their staff was there to carry it down.

Great location! Close to the Champs Elyssees, Galleries Lafayette. Wonderful restaurants in the area! Only thumbs down was that the apartment wasn't cleaned on our 2nd morning.
