Latin Quarter Apartment

Posted Oct 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good Left Bank location -Bvd Saint Germain/Bvd Saint Michel. Lots of restaurant options & pastries from Paul's! Handy supermarket options and Metro & Airport RER on doorstep. Apartment has plenty of room for couples and Pascal provided enough creature comforts for a comfortable stay.

Great location - poor bedding

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Bedding
Location: Close to Notre Dame - Ile de la Cite
It was a great experience but it was really pushing it to say it accommodates 4 people. It was very cramped with the 4 of us but it would have all just about been bearable had the bedding been better. The kids had no pillows to speak off...just cushions and just a sheet to cover them...no duvet. For the main bed we had 1 very thin, hard pillow each which for me meant 3 very uncomfortable nights. Having said all of that the equipment in the apartment was pretty good; nice bathroom & kitchen but it's the location that makes any short comings worthwhile as you really are right in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Expect plenty of noise though!

thanks for your input Ian. You probably did not notice it during your 3 nights stay but all pillows and comforters are in the large closet behind the apartment door. The apartment indeed sleeps 4 people but at that very competitive price in the best part of Paris you cannot indeed expect lots of space for 4! Thanks for staying with us

My "Ratatouille" home in Paris

Posted Jul 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
We loved this cozy appartment located in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Paris. Location was a 100!!! Walking distance to Notre Dame Catedral, easy walks to Louvre, D'Orssay, Pompidou Centre. Had everything you could possibly need, i.e. washing/drying machine, stove, fridge, microwave, nice size bathroom w/tub. We loved sitting at balcony and watch the activity. Downstairs we found the best restaurants in the city, good French food at very reasonable prices, L'Auberge was the best and also the Gyro place at the corner. We will definitely come back and will recommend to our friends!!!

Great location and space!

Perfect location, right next to Notre Dame Cathedral and various metro stations. The room was great, the only minor grievance would be the lack of toilet paper/towels supplied - other than that all things were excellent and perfect for independent travelers. Hairdryer and even straightener were left for use!

Excellent location!

Would definitely rent again! The owners were very accommodating The only thing I can say negative is that it can be noisy since you are virtually in the middle of it all!

Perfect Location - well equipped flat :)

Posted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Location, kitchen/washing machine
Cons: The building limits the flat to make any improvements.
Location: EVERYTHING! Notre Dame and the Seine River are a step away, and the place is literally surrounded by restaurants.
Right in the heart of the 5th Arrondissement, about 5 minutes walking from: mini-supermarket, underground/metro, River Seine, Notre Dame, Pharmacy, and surrounded by a ton of restaurants. In other words: PERFECT location for anyone who spends the day out enjoying everything Paris (and more) has to offer. I stayed with my wife and 2 adolescent/youths (16 + 18), and the four of us got by just fine, though it is not a spacy flat. It is well equipped: washing machine, ironing, microwave, stove, mini-oven, fridge, and all the necessary/basic kitchen utensils to cook, and dishes/cutlery to eat. Of course, a cork-screw (absolute must in France) is also there. The bathroom is clean, and the water runs hot. Wi-fi also works - request the code from the owner/employee. The sofa-bed and the upper loft-bed equals two queen-sized beds, so more that 4 people is not possible. The building has a tiny crooked staircase, that could present problems for anyone that has physical limitations with stairs, or if you need to lug up/down large suitcases. However, we found that whatever cons there are, the pros far outmatch them, and we had a fabulous stay for a week in Paris, visiting Versailles, and even using the Eurostar to make a day-trip to London, without needing to make a suitcase and changing hotels to visit England: VERY convenient! If you are carefree and not fussy, requiring a maid to wash up your dishes, clean your room or make your beds, this is just the best deal in Paris!

Excellent value and neat experience.

Pros: Location (very cool spot in the heart of the Latin Quarter).
Cons: Location (no quiet until 3am).
Location: Excellent if you are a sound sleeper.
For a family of 4 with few needs it was a relatively inexpensive, small apartment in a very lively location of Paris. It was close to everything. My son loved it. We would sit and look out the window at night and people watch until the wee hours.

Fantastic place to stay, brilliant location

Posted Mar 4, 2013
Pros: The location is fantastic.
Cons: This is not a hotel, so no concierge.
Location: In the heart of the Latin Quarter, restaurants at your door.
Not a hotel, an apartment. Situated in the hustle and bustle of the Quartier Latin, you only have to step out of the front door to be in the thick of Paris nightlife. A 2 minute stroll to the Seine and Notre Dame. The unit easily fit my family (4 persons), will all the required conveniences. Pascal is just a phone call away and is very accommodating.

L'appartamento รจ pulito, confortevole e dotato di ogno confort. Abbiamo soggiornato in 4: 2 adulti + 2 bambini. E' situato nel cuore del Quartiere latino a 2 min da Place St. Michel e da Notre Dame. Facilmente raggiungibile dall'aeroporto con la RER. E' un ottimo punto di partenza per escursioni a piedi.
