Comfortable and quirky at the MaraisPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed, quite large room (for Paris), breakfast was more than adequate for €12 - much more than you would get in a neighbourhood cafe.
Cons: Some things were a bit shabby and could use new carpeting, fixing of some small broken bits, perhaps a bit more lighting.
Location: The Marais is at your feet - convenient to the Picasso Museum (make sure to book on line a month ahead of your visit), Place des Vosges, jewish delis.
The location is perfect for exploring the Marais, very convenient for public transport (Metro lines 1 and 11), the staff could not be nicer, the breakfast is lovely, and the hotel is quirky and full of character.

Very central for the MaraisPosted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: The breakfasts were delicious, although not cheap.
Cons: A bit brighter lights in the room.
Location: Near some delightful secret gardens. Walking distance to Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle and a bit further to Promenade Plantee and Bastille Opera.
We stayed twice here at the beginning and end of our travels. We looked forward to returning. A very pleasant hotel with comfortable beds and super bathroom with heated towel rails! Staff were always helpful.

Lovely small hotel close to Notre Dame CathedralPosted Nov 1, 2014
We enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be very helpful and accomodating. One morning the manager served us breakfast himself when the breakfast room was full. He set a beautiful table and was the perfect example of wowing the customer!!

Comfortable boutique hotel in lively areaPosted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: Location and general quality and space of room. We were on the top floor with a split level room and balcony over the street.
Cons: More teabags and beware that the street can be noisy early morning and late evening.
Location: Loads within walking distance - NotreDame, Haut Marais, Pompidou, river, many small local markets. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes of all types
Mazarin was ideal for what we wanted. Close to Notre Dame and river and in a lively area for restaurants, cafes etc. There were no real facilities beyond the room and reception staff but as a couple we didn't really need anything else as we were spending most of our days and evenings out and about. Everything was comfortable and well looked after in the hotel and staff were attentive.

Lovely hotelPosted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Great views nice locations
Location: Right next tie the hotel De ville and within walking distance of many attractions
The hotel is in a wonderful location and has terrific views. The staff were all friendly, the overall experience was very nice. I will say that our room was a little bit snug but it is a very old building.

Excellent location for a city visit to ParisPosted Oct 12, 2014
Room was fantastic, modern, clean and spacious. Great location, next to the Hotel de Ville and close to Notre Dame ideal for exploring the city. Great brasseries nearby. We had a fantastic time. Only shame was that bar was not open when we returned at the ends of the evening.
