hotel ok for those on budget

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: friendliness of the staff
Cons: totally remodel the room.
Location: the room was close to I-10 which was good. entrance not on the main roads though. I wouldn't suggest for those that easily feel intimidated. :-)
I had to book this room last minute because my other plans fell through. The staff was very polite. However, the condition of the room wasn't what I was used to. If you're on a budget, it's decent for a one night stay.

Beside the uncomfortable neighbohood the room was also old and partialy dirty. The AC was loud and never took a time off. At my time of visit some rooms seemed to be in the process of being refurbished, so hopefully this might change in the future...

My Pleasant Stay

Posted Apr 9, 2014
I am from British Columbia, Canada and was looking for a hotel near the airport. I plan to stay just for a night and was only looking for a reasonably priced hotel. This was the cheapest hotel I could find that meets my need. I was not expecting a whole lot but was pleasantly surprised to find out my room was impeccably clean. The bathroom was immaculate. The towels were very very clean. You could smell that the toilet was sanitized. The weather was not yet in the 100s but it was pretty close. The airconditioner handled the heat with lots to spare. I only wished the hotel provided a fleece blanket in the room just in case you needed it. The front desk staff was very accomodating. I forgot my cell phone charger at home and asked if he knows a Verizon store so I could buy a charger. He asked me what kind of phoned I have and he dug into his drawer and found a charger to lend to me. Whew! That saved my day. By the way, their check in time was 3PM and I came quite early (1PM to be exact.) I was allowed to check-in nevertheless. I had to stay another day and told him if I could get the same rate I got on-line. Sure enough they even converted it to equal what I paid in Canadian Dollars. Although I was not able to close the deal I was hoping to make in Phoenix, I sure had a very pleasant experience with the hotel and most importantly with the extremely nice staff. Oops. I forgot to praise the room cleaners. They do a magnificent job.

Clean and good size rooms. No complimentary wifi though. Good location close to casinos at top end of strip. Parking available.

Terrible neighborhood!

Posted Apr 5, 2014
I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. It's in a terrible neighborhood. We felt so unsafe we left the hotel , without staying there and gave up our money for the night.

Dirty, holes in the wall, broken phone, bad.

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: There was not much to like. It was cheap and the shower worked.
Cons: It could be cleaned, painted, repaired, new carpet, fix the electric and phone.
Location: Get out of the neighborhood!
Room was quite dirty. I was not at all sure that the sheets had been changed. There was litter on the floor from a prior tenant. The phone was broken, no dial tone. When I told that to he manager, he came out, said he was going to fix it, but never showed up again. The neighborhood was seedy. I booked though expedia, so I was not aware of the area when I chose it. The only positive was that the shower worked well. Most everything else about the room was sub standard to say the least. Oh, and the window fell out of the frame when I opened it.

Very bad neighborhood(not if you like hookers?)

Posted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: It was Clean and the staff were very cordial
Cons: pretty much everything..?
Location: Close to airport, hookers, bums, etc
Booked through expedia..mainly for price... and last minute close to airport.. I have to say, the room was clean. but only one light in room worked, outlets were broken/loose (Could not plug things into them) There was NO phone in the room. There were appliances (Microwave, mini-fridge) but due to inoperable outlets they did not work... The best way to describe the neighborhood was to point out that 1/2 block away the people have penitentiary "Razor wire" around their back yards!!!! We did not have an issue, but we only stayed (Slept) 2 nights and were only there to sleep. Quick business trip.

Sleepless night

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: The price.
Cons: Hotel security.
Location: We were there for a concert.
We were able to hear other patrons screaming throughout the night and yelling about calling the police.
