Overall dirty hotel. Nice pet policy and free breakfast. Could focus on cleanliness a bit more.

Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game

Check in time is unnegotiable. When asked if it was at all possible for us to check in early hotel staff flat out refused- didn't even give us the time of day let alone ask for our name to see if our room might be ready. Rooms did contain a kitchen but as we were not able to book in early we did not find this out until after 9:30pm and we only stayed the one night. Rooms are tidy but everything needs a renovation. Breakfast was good but presentation of food needs some work.

A little disappointing but served it's purpose.

Pros: The bed. The storage space in the rooms. The refrigerator.
Cons: Some minor updates and cleaning would have helped a lot. The morning breakfast was only so-so. The 2 people at the desk were strange and awkward.
Location: I'm not aware of any good activities nearby but there is a Boston Market and an Olive Garden nearby. We used both and enjoyed them both.
Rooms are good size with good features. It was wasn't very clean and needed updating. Desk staff was unusual and a little bit creepy. The bed was very good and that's what we most needed/wanted. The bathroom needed some repairs and updating. Shower curtain sagged badly. The exhaust fan was pathetic. On the good side, there was plenty of good closet space. The refrigerator worked very well. We didn't use the TV so can't comment there. As with so many hotels, they needed more electrical outlets near the bed. 3 out of 4 were already used by clock and 2 lamps. Would I stay there again? Probably not. However, it did serve the purposes we needed and the bed was very comfortable.

We were not allowed to check in to our room at the stated checkout time, as the manager did not know which room s were clean. We ended up waiting almost an hour in the lobby before we were able to check in.

Needs repairs

Posted Jun 23, 2014
When we first got to our room it looked nice until we looked at the bathroom ceiling it had huge water stains around the light. Then looking at the closet the rugs had water marks. Then we called asking for a cot because there wasn't a pullout bed in the couch like it said. They wanted to charge us 20 dollars for a bed so we said no and they made us walk to the office to get pillows and blankets. They were kind enough to let us change rooms but the next room had lights that didn't work. The phones didn't work and we were never told bout check out time. Other than that it close to downtown Pittsburgh which is nice.

Ok for the price, but expected more

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: It was a roof over our heads
Cons: almost everything
Location: 4 miles from downtown, but hidden away and took some ingenuity to get to.
The TV didn't work properly, the remote control didn't work half of the time, and the only way to turn it off was to unplug it. They obviously knew this as the tv was unplugged when we entered the room the first time. While everything seemed to be clean it was shabby and needs some updated furniture and fixtures

Not worth the money

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Severe lack of maintenance throughout entire complex. The pool was dirty, unheated and had a beer can in the bottom. One of the beds was not made.
It was a very disappointing experience. Room was not clean, one of the beds wasn't made. Pool was cold, beer can at the bottom and pool furniture was stacked up in a corner. The only good thing worth mentioning is the complimentary breakfast. Pictures on the internet are very deceiving. There were broken windows on some of the units. Uneven walkways, rotting wood on stairways. Siding laying around. Hot water in bathtub never stopped leaking its steady stream of water.

nice hotel easy to find.

Pros: short distance from downtown Pittsburgh
Cons: during breakfast dedicate staff to clean tables after someone is done eating.
Location: go to a Steelers, Pirates or Penguins game, eat at Primanti Bros or just take a walk along the waterfront.
the room was very large and would be perfect for a long stay because it has a kitchen.
